We are the Newcomers' Club of the Lake Area. Most of us have been new
to Lake Charles and its surroundings at some time in our life. We did
not know anything about the area and we did not have anyone to call a
friend in our new town. Until we found the Newcomers' Club!
The club is here for all of us. We would like to meet you, to get to
know you, and to call you a friend. In no time at all you will feel at
home in Lake Charles.
The easiest way to meet us is at our monthly luncheons, which will be
held on the 4th Monday from 11:00-1:00. From September thru December we
will meet at Graywood, and from January thru May we will meet at the
Pioneer Club.
Perhaps you would like to join one of our activity groups like playing
Bunko (a dice game) once a month in the evening. Maybe the weekly
Mom-and-Tot playgroup would work best for you. You can also join the
Lunch Bunch for a lunch or the Ladies-Night-Out in the evenings to get
to know the local restaurants.
