New Member on Board of Directors

Congratulations to Arnold Zink, on being elected to the Board of Directors. Pat Douglas and Mike McCrary were re-elected to the board as well.

From the Building Committee:

Building Permit Applications can be picked up from the Clubhouse office. You must fill out the application completely and return to the office. The Building Committee Chairperson will review your application and get in contact with you.

Office Notes:

PLEASE check with the office if you have lost anything on the lake. We have a Lost and Found Closet with a few items to be claimed by their rightful owners. The office phone number again is (601) 264-3765.

New Member Drive:

A lot of people don't know what the moneys paid to the association as dues, go toward. They seem to feel that if they don't fish or ski that there is no need in paying. However, if you really think about it, what will your property value be if you have a dried out grassy, stump covered dip behind your house? The dues are used to cover Lake Maintenance and Repairs. This year we are looking at a major expendature in repairing the North and Fishing or Stump Lake Dams. This HAS to be done, and we need more than ever, for you, as a member to encourage your neigbors to join the association if you know they are not current. Please help us help you, in keeping your property value at it's highest possible level.

Environmental Friendly Watersports:

There is a 2 cylce engine oil made by Pennzoil that can be designed for watercraft. The great thing about this oil is, it's biodegradable. It can be purchased at Walmart, or on-line from Yahoo Shops. For more information on this Biodegradable 2 Cycle Engine Oil , click on the highlighted text. If possible, it would help our lakes if you could use this type of oil in your water craft.
