Cogratulations Warren Bennett, who caught a 8.00 lb. Largemouth Bass from the Oak Grove lake. When asked what he used to catch this hawg ''a hook'' was the reply I got! Warren's catch replaces the standing record of 7.23 lbs caught from the North Lake in 2005. Again Congrats!

Christmas trees do make good cover, however, they do tend to deteriorate within a couple of years. Having said this, the Board of Directors has purchased fish habitats that do not decay for placement in the lakes. Any land owners with piers that want to improve fishing areas around their piers are encouraged to purchase these habitats or construct them yourselves. Currently, 25 habitats have been placed in the Fishing or Stumpy Lake, 61 habitats have been placed in the North Lake, 14 habitats have been placed in the East Lake, 50 in the Oak Grove Lake, and 50 have been placed in the Ski or Main Lake.
