~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NEPRYNE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CONTENTS Lurkit Wallatree Glyptodillo Armordon Chickapo Kakapeat P'tooi ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Species name: Lurkit No: ??? Shadow Kit Type 1/ Dark Height: 1'4" Weight: 20 lbs General Pokedex data: The rarely-seen baby form of Sneasel. Lurkits, being afraid of sunlight, spend their days hiding in places where light is dimmed or nonexistant - such as in caves or burrows. They do most of their business at night. These pokemon are extremely skittish, and tend to run and hide at the first sign of movement or light. These pokemon are solitary, for the most part, but may pair up with another pokemon (usually of their species...it's rare that they attach themselves to something that's not another lurkit or sneasel). If they ever attack, then lurkit are vicious little things - they use their sharp teeth and back claws to attack (as they lack the long front claws of their evolution). Discovered by: Nepryne Breeding group: Does not breed. replaces in ecosystem: Cat Eats: Meat Social structure: Solitary habbitat: Caves Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Can't stand sunlight Breeding method: Does not breed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Species name: Wallatree No: ??? The Tree Jumper Pokemon Type 1/ Normal Height: 4' 7" (including length of tail) Weight: 50 lbs General Pokedex data: These pokemon are related to kangaskhan - though they're smaller and have adapted to living in trees. Unlike their kangaskhan relatives, there is a more equal ratio of males to females, and the males do not evolve at all - as there is no need for them to do so (since they do not live in any sort of large group, the males have no need to protect a herd of females). Wallatrees use their tails to help balance in the trees - however, the tails are not prehensile. Males are slightly larger than females. Discovered by: Nepryne Breeding group: Females - exclusive, Males - omnivores (just because it seemed like the best choice...if there's a better group to put them in, then feel free to put them in there ^_^;;) replaces in ecosystem: Tree Kangaroo Eats: Fruits and leaves Social structure: Solitary habitat: Forest Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Breeding method: Live birth ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Species name: Glyptodillo No: ??? The Armadillo Pokemon Type 1/ Steel Type2/ Ground Height: 1' 8" Weight: 65 lbs General Pokedex data: The metallic shell of this pokemon is inpenetrable to most things, giving the glyptodillo good protection against its enemies. However, it is, of course, weak to fire, making it easy prey for fire-type predators. The glyptodillo can roll up into an almost perfect ball. Its tail ends in a spike-studded ball, which the 'dillo can swing at enemies...if it has to. When it comes to confrontations, this pokemon would rather flee than fight. Discovered by: Nepryne Breeding group: Rodent like - small, Omnivore - small/medium replaces in ecosystem: Armadillo Eats: Insects, plant matter Social structure: Solitary Habitat: Grassland, forest Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Always gives birth to identical quadruplets Breeding method: Live birth ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Species name: Armordon No: ??? The Armor shell Pokemon Type 1/ Steel Type2/ Ground Height: 3' 3" Weight: 135 lbs General Pokedex data: The shell of the glyptodillo turns into a more armor-like structure for the armordon - and while it may seem like it has more vulnerable spots, it doesn't, as its hide is rather tough. This pokemon is not as timid as its previous form, and will most likely fight if threatened. It cannot roll up into a ball, but it has no need to - its armor is rather tough. It uses its horn to threaten its enemies, and also to try and stab them if they don't back off. Discovered by: Nepryne Breeding group: Rodent like - large, Field, Omnivore - large replaces in ecosystem: Armadillo Eats: Insects, meat, plant matter Social structure: Solitary Habitat: Grassland, forest Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Breeding method: Live birth ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Species name: Chickapo No: ??? Ground Chick Type 1/ Grass Type 2/ Ground Height: 2' Weight: 40 lbs General Pokedex data: The reason for this pokemon's rarity is mainly from loss of habitat and introduction of strange predators - from which it couldn't easily escape. It learns mostly normal-type attacks, though it can learn a few powder attacks in order to help protect itself against predators (though that doesn't always work, obviously). "The fuzzy down of this pokemon feels like moss to the touch. Due to several factors, this flightless parrot pokemon has become extremely rare." Discovered by: Nepryne Breeding group: Does not breed Replaces in ecosystem: Kakapo Eats: roots, leaves, berries, moss, fungi Social structure: Solitary Habitat: Forests Rarity: Extremely rare Brief comment: May freeze if it senses danger. Breeding method: This form does not breed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Species name: Kakapeat No: ??? Grass Wing Type 1/ Grass Type 2/ Ground Height: 3' 11 Weight: 95 lbs General Pokedex data: The Kakapeat is a territorial bird, and warns away others that trespass in its area by squawking loudly. Even though it cannot fly, it is extremely skilled at climbing trees. It prefers to do most of its activities at nighttime, spending the day sleeping. "This pokemon lost the power of flight long ago. Because of this, its flight feathers gradually turned more and more leaflike." Discovered by: Nepryne Breeding group: Bird - large Replaces in ecosystem: Kakapo Eats: Roots, leaves, berries, moss, fungi Social structure: Solitary Habitat: Forests Rarity: Extremely rare Brief comment: Breeds only every few years; what triggers its breeding season is unknown. Breeding method: Eggs (1 - 2 at a time) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Species name: P'tooi (pronounced just like the sound "ptooey" ^_^;;) No: ??? The Garbage Diver Pokemon Type 1/ Poison Type2/ Flying Height: 2'4" Weight: 7 lbs General Pokedex data: This pokemon's feathers shine with a toxin that is dangerous to the touch - it has been known to be able to kill smaller pokemon, such as pichu and rattata, and would probably make larger pokemon sick if they touched the p'tooi for too long. Thankfully, the p'tooi has brightly-colored plumage that helps to warn others that it's poisonous...or it should be a warning, anyways. P'tooi do not taste very good, of course...except to other poison types. The 'hood' around this pokemon's head and neck are merely a modified form of plumage (sorta like Murkrow's 'hat'). The p'tooi's colors are always a bright color (such as red or orange) mixed in with black markings (though the coloration on the hood is reversed) - and the markings are vaguely reminiscent of poison-dart frogs (except on a bird, of course). The markings are unique for each individual. The p'tooi's diet consists mostly of bugs, especially poison-type bugs. This pokemon earned the nickname of "garbage diver" after its tendency to go picking through trash - both human-made and natural (like carcasses and stuff. They'll go for things that even murkrow won't touch). The only thing the p'tooi won't touch is anything marked by a lussion - for that is even a bit too much for this bird. The P'toois dislike Lussions, but the feeling is mutual - Lussions don't like P'toois, either. The birds find the canines to be too repulsive, and the canines think the birds are just a major annoyance. Discovered by: Nepryne Breeding group: Bird replaces in ecosystem: Bird Eats: Insects Social structure: Solitary or Disorganized (sometimes they live in small flocks) habbitat: Forest/Jungle Rarity: Rare Brief comment: Poisonous to the touch Breeding method: Eggs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
