They eat compost and rotting wood, making thier homes in windfalls, and underground where they can find tunnells and chambers that are dry enough. They enjoy company, and don't do well, if kept on thier own for extended periods of time. In times of drought and forest fire, these tend to be among the few pokemon who don't flee for thier lives.. Iron hard shells shield them from falling debri, and they have no fear of flames or embers. An interesting note about these creatures, the males can spontaneously change gender and become female due to a very rare bacterial infection picked up if they should become overly damp, hence they tend to avoid wetter areas at all costs. The change is fast, taking between three days and a week. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Bug replaces in ecosystem: Woodlouse Eats: Wood, Compost Social structure: Gregarious habitat: Forrest Rarity: Uber common Brief comment: Tastes like crayfish Breeding method: Sexual, many eggs carried on the females unserside untill hatching. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Rollaburn The Slater Pokemon Type 1/ Fire Type 2/ Bug Height: 3' 7" Weight: 92lbs General Pokedex data: This pokemon is rarer than its pre-evolution in the wild, the reason for this being, due to its larger size, it has a harder time finding places to live where its needs are catered for. Its diet remains the same, though, it will eat more fresh vegetation due to a slightly more able digestive system. Its shell becomes even harder, and it is able to roll into a completely spherical ball to avoid being attacked. An interesting note about these creatures, the males can spontaneously change gender and become female due to a very rare bacterial infection picked up if they should become overly damp, hence they tend to avoid wetter areas at all costs. The change is fast, taking between three days and a week. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Bug replaces in ecosystem: Woodlouse Eats: Wood, Compost Social structure: Gregarious habitat: Forrest Rarity: Common Brief comment: Still tastes like Crayfish Breeding method: Sexual, many eggs, stuck to the females underside. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Brackenburn The Gojira Pokemon Type 1/ Fire Type 2/ Bug Height: 7' 0" Weight: 250lbs General Pokedex data: The Brackenburn is truly a giant, when it comes to bug types. They are barely ever seen in the wild, and with good reason. They tend to eat a great deal of wood, both fresh and rotting, and a lot of other vegetation too. So, the most common sightings of these pokemon are in human hands. If there were more of them in the wild, they would probably do a lot of damage to the environments in which they existed. The physical bulk and strength of these pokemon make them a formiddable opponent, but for the most part, they are gentle, and slow moving. An interesting note about these creatures, the males can spontaneously change gender and become female due to a very rare bacterial infection picked up if they should become overly damp, hence they tend to avoid wetter areas at all costs. The change is fast, taking between three days and a week. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Bug replaces in ecosystem: Woodlouse Eats: Wood, Compost Social structure: Gregarious habitat: Forrest Rarity: Common Brief comment: Yep. Still tastes like Crayfish Breeding method: Sexual, many eggs, stuck to the females underside. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Impede The growth Pokemon Type 1/ Bug Type 2/ Poison Height: 0' 10" Weight: Varies General Pokedex data: The Impede is an interesting pokemon, in that, it's born with only one set of legs. As it gets stronger, level by level, it will gain more body segments, and more legs with them. One new segment per one new level, and a set of legs on each. It sleeps only once every few days, and as it sleeps, the new body segments, and new sets of legs grow rapidly out of the back of the last fully formed segment. This pokemon is mildly poisonous. It's a carnivore, and its venom is paralasis inducing. It hunts other bug types, usually caterpillar pokemon, or small vertibrates like Rattata and Lurkit. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Bug replaces in ecosystem: Centipede Eats: Bugs/Meat Social structure: Solitary habitat: Rainforest Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Grows longer depending on level Breeding method: Sexual, many eggs. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Pede-off The Growth Pokemon Type 1/ Bug Type 2/ Poison Height: 1' 6" Weight: Varies General Pokedex data: If an Impede grows more than 49 bodily segments, and sleeps for longer than two days, this is what happens. Pede-off is a much more toxic pokemon than its previous evolution. It is quick to anger, and has a nasty bite that not only paralises, but tends to dissolve the flesh of whatever it bites. Along with that, it gains the Explosion technique, one bodily segment going off at a time, each with a very powerful charge. The head is the only segment that does not explode. If it really wants to destroy an enemy, it will wrap itself around its foes neck and use this explosion technique to decapitate it. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Bug replaces in ecosystem: Centipede Eats: Bugs/Meat Social structure: Solitary habitat: Rainforest Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Grows longer depending on level Breeding method: Sexual, many eggs. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Egganism The Smelly Omlette Pokemon Type 1/ Bug Type 2/ Height: 0' 10" Weight: 5lbs General Pokedex data: This pokemon is a blob of rotten egg, essentially. The core of this pokemon is near impossible to get to, through the thickened, hardened yolk of the egg that it developed in. However, despite this, it tends to be a friendly, happy-go-lucky little thing, if it happens to find a friend who can stand its stench, and general grossness. It has big, cute eyes, and is usually smiling. It survives by eating the egg white it was born with. It will usually attempt friendliness and closeness with its host 'mother'... but nine times out of ten is rejected, which can lead them to wail and cry piteously untill they either evolve, or find someone else to become friendly with. It is hatched in the clutches/litters of egg layer pokemon, where it has been implanted as a tiny, almost microscopic larvae. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Juvenile replaces in ecosystem: Nothing Eats: Itself Social structure: Disorganised habitat: Anywhere Rarity: Not common Brief comment: Smelly yet giggly. Breeding method: None ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Yorkcoon The hard boiled egg Pokemon Type 1/ Bug Type 2/ Height: 2' 0" Weight: 15lbs General Pokedex data: Once an Egganism eats all of the egg white surrounding its hardened yolk exterior, it evolves into this. A hard, unyeilding cocoon that will simply lay whereever it evolves, untill time comes for it to hatch. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Juvenile replaces in ecosystem: Nothing Eats: Nothing Social structure: Disorganised habitat: Anywhere Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Lays pretty much motionless for a good long while Breeding method: None ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Nectasite The Flutterbug Pokemon Type 1/ Bug Type 2/ Flying Height: 2' 0" Weight: 10lbs General Pokedex data: This happy-go-lucky insect is invariably male. It drinks nectar from flowers and juices from fallen fruits. It's usually very cheerful, and hard to get down. Brightly colored, and radiatiing an aura of happiness wherever they go. Tend to hang out with lafflora a lot of the time. It tends to avoid females of its own species, doing its best to prevent them from hurting other pokemon by trying not to mate them, however, when one of thier kinds females comes along, they rarely have much say in the matter. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Bug replaces in ecosystem: Butterfly Eats: Nectar Social structure: Disorganised habitat: Rainforest Rarity: Not common Brief comment: Happy, nectar feeding insect Breeding method: Sexual ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Corruptisite The Predator Pokemon Type 1/ Bug Type 2/ Poison Height: 3' 0" Weight: 20lbs General Pokedex data: This female version of Nectasite feeds upon blood in the manner of a huge mosquito. It has a fairly dilute venom that paralises its prey, so that it can feed. And should it find that its prey is an egg layer, and pregnant, it will inject a single larvae into the creatures bloodstream, where it will find its way to the uterus, and lodge itself inside one of the pokemons eggs, there to be laid and hatch with the rest of the pokemons litter/clutch. It eats the pre-existing Foetus and grows to fill the shell of the egg as closely as it can. This pokemon is known for chasing down males of its species, and mating them by force, using the multipurpose stinger, located at the end of its abdomen. (Which it also uses to eat, implant its larvae, and secrete wastes.) If they cannot find males of thier own species, they will atempt to mate other male insects and bugs, with varying levels of success. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Bug replaces in ecosystem: Mosquito, some forms of wasp Eats: Blood Social structure: Solitary habitat: Rainforest Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Nasty creatures, avoid. Breeding method: Sexual, one larvae. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Gaudiglide The Airborne escargo Pokemon Type 1/ Poison Type 2/ Flying Height: 0' 4" Weight: 0.5lbs General Pokedex data: This pokemon is not large in height, but can be up to 1m in circumfrance when its foot is completely spread. It is a snail pokemon that feeds only on the tenderest, most sun-soaked shoots at the very top of the rainforrests canopy. Once they have denuded the trees topmost shoots, they will simply spread thier huge, super thin feet, and glide down to the next tree, where they will proceede to roll up thier feet into thier shell, and crawl to the top of the tree they have landed in. They are bright colored... garishly so. This is to ward off birds who might see them as an easy meal... however, they secrete a highly toxic slime when they are threatened, and the only pokemon that might eat them and survive are P'tooi, Numwog line of pokemon, and Lusseon, along with any carnivorous steel types. They can come in any shade in the spectrum, usually offset with black or white. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Mollusc replaces in ecosystem: Snail Eats: Herbivore Social structure: Solitary habitat: Rainforest Rarity: Common Brief comment: Brightly colored to ward away predators Breeding method: sexual, Eggs ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Genericus The Chibi snail Pokemon Type 1/ Water Type 2/ Ground Height: 2' 5" Weight: 20lbs General Pokedex data: This cute little snail pokemon is a slow moving snail. It tends to be somewhat oblivious of its surroundings. It eats, and it sleeps, and that's pretty much it, for the most part. Not exactly a favorite of most trainers as it takes a long time to train it. It has a super high defense, a super high special defense, and a super low everything else. However, it does make a great pet, and is generally friendly, if you can draw its attention away from whatever vegetation it might be eating at the time. It can eat pretty much any sort of plant, oblivious of poisonous berries or leaves, which pass right through its system with no problem. (Immunity is its body type.) If this pokemon lives in predominantly wet conditions, it evolves one way. If it lives in drier areas, it evolves another. It has primitive lungs for breathing air, and a simple set of gills to gain oxegyn from water, but it is primarily terrestrial. One interesting thing about this pokemon, it has, essentially, three genders. Breeding males, Breeding females, and Clonal females. The Clonal females can either take a male mate, or, simply fertilise themselves and produce exact genetic copies of itself, along with a few Males, and breeding females, though, these latter two are in the minority for every clonal females clutch. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Mollusc replaces in ecosystem: Snail Eats: Vegetation Social structure: Disorganised habitat: Anywhere with plants Rarity: Common Brief comment: Oblivious. Just... oblivious Breeding method: Sexual, eggs. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Spirasoil The cone shell Pokemon Type 1/ Ground Type 2/ Height: 4' 0" Weight: 75lbs General Pokedex data: The evolved form of Genericus, should it live in very dry conditions. Its simple gills dissapear, and it tends to avoid water due to its ground type nature. Its general personality, diet, and breeding method, however, do not change. Its shell becomes harder and more robust, and often recieves a lot of nicks, scratches, and scars from predators trying to get to the sweet snail flesh inside. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Mollusc replaces in ecosystem: Snail Eats: Vegetation Social structure: Solitary habitat: Dry scrubland Rarity: Common Brief comment: Taste good with butter and garlic Breeding method: Sexual, eggs ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Hydrahelix The Coral shell Pokemon Type 1/ Water Type 2/ Height: 4' 0" Weight: 75lbs General Pokedex data: The evolved form of Genericus, should it live in very wet conditions. Unlike the Spirasoil, it doesn't lose its alternative breathing aparatus, being able to spend small amounts of time on land to cross it between different water sources. Its a huge grazer, denuding algae and kelp beds quickly. However, it moves so slowly, that barnacles and other small crustaceans and molluscs will latch onto its shell, completely covering it, eventually. It will live in either the ocean, or, lakes. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Mollusc replaces in ecosystem: Snail Eats: Vegetation Social structure: Solitary habitat: Dry scrubland Rarity: Common Brief comment: Taste good with butter and garlic Breeding method: Sexual, eggs ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Ohpearl The Cute parasite Pokemon Type 1/ Water Type 2/ Height: 0' 5" Weight: 0.4lbs General Pokedex data: This pokemon is a real little cutie. Big, pretty eyes, a lovely colored pearly growth on its head, and a light, high pitched, very childlike voice. However, it's rarely appreciated, as it clings to any fish it can get its little sucker on. And won't let go. And it has such high Special and Normal defense that it's close to impossible to pry off. Plus... it cries a lot if you try. The pearl is actually hollow, and the Ohpearl fills it with gas to rise and fall underwater untill it can latch onto a suitable host. It's not a true pearl, rather, the remaining shell of the Ohpearls egg. It does not harm its host, beyond the mild discomfort of its sucker. And it eats algae, Plankton, and krill, grabbed on the swim as its host moves about. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Juvenile replaces in ecosystem: Mussell Larvae Eats: Plankton Social structure: Solitary habitat: Ocean/Lakes Rarity: Uncommon Brief comment: Very cute and sweet Breeding method: None ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Musselusk The slippery seafood Pokemon Type 1/ Water Type 2/ Height: 8' 3" Weight: 110lbs General Pokedex data: Once an Ohpearl evolves, it becomes this pokemon. An elongated body, held inside a bihalve shell. It retains its pearl, which becomes an anchor, holding the Musselusk down in the sand of lakes and shallower areas of ocean. However, it can be filled with gasses that allow it to move and swim freely, if one location is undesireable, and it needs to move, or, if it needs to escape predation. Because it is such a large shellfish, it is often farmed by humans for the seafood market, and it has a pleasantly sweet, soft flesh. It's a filter feeder still, drawing in water, and siphoning out plantok, Krill, and algae to feed on. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Mollusc, Sealife replaces in ecosystem: Mussell Eats: Plankton Social structure: Gregarious habitat: Ocean/lakes Rarity: Common Brief comment: Taste great, if you can get through the shell. Breeding method: Sexual, millions of eggs ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Scabrat The Rat Pokemon Type 1/ Dark Type 2/ Height: 1' 0" Weight: 7lbs General Pokedex data: Scabrat are a newly discovered rat pokemon, existing on several isolated islands, and in areas where humans don't tend to live because of terrible conditions. Usually, caused by these pokemon and thier evolutions. Wherever you find one, you'll find fifty more. And then they will eat you. Incredibly invasive, incredibly disease ridden, and incredibly vicious and competitive. They tend to eat pokemon and substances that would make most other creatures cringe. They will slurp down Grimer without a thought, munch down Koffing and Gulpin without fear or worry. P'tooi are safe for the most part, but thier eggs and chicks usually arent. They will gnaw on steel types and rock types as well. The only good thing about this pokemon, is that it has a lifespan of only two years. It lives such a hard, vicious life, it tends to burn itself out quickly. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Rodent replaces in ecosystem: Black rat Eats: Everything Social structure: Disorganised habitat: Anywhere Rarity: varies on location Brief comment: Invasive and deadly Breeding method: Eggs ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Rotterat The rat Pokemon Type 1/ Dark Type 2/ Height: 3' 0" Weight: 18lbs General Pokedex data: This rat like pokemon is quick to move into an area and eat everything in it before moving onto the next place. They are terriffic swimmers, transversing huge areas of ocean inbetween various islands to find new territory. They breed quickly, and tend to ovverun any area they enter without remorse, or care of the other creatures in thier environment. Also very hardy... can go a long time without food or water before dying. If they enter your home area, the best thing to do, is to destroy them with extreme prejudice. They will eat you out of house and home, and then eat the house and home themselves, and you along with it. The only good thing about this pokemon, is that it has a lifespan of only two years. It lives such a hard, vicious life, it tends to burn itself out quickly. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Rodent replaces in ecosystem: Black rat Eats: Everything Social structure: Disorganised habitat: Anywhere Rarity: varies on location Brief comment: Invasive and deadly Breeding method: Eggs ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Rattourmortis The Deathrat Pokemon Type 1/ Dark Type 2/ Height: 5' 8" Weight: 178lbs General Pokedex data: This pokemon is the third and final evolution of Scabrat. It's huge, and luckily, rarely seen as Rotterats that grow old enough to become this strong are few and far between. All the nastiness of its previous forms, and twice the disease, as its immune system tends to break down a bit in this stage, and it takes on whatever microbes and parasites come its way. It rivals only Lusseon in its general foulness, and this is its eventual downfall, as it has fewer natural safeguards against disease and infestation. The only good thing about this pokemon, is that it has a lifespan of only two years. It lives such a hard, vicious life, it tends to burn itself out quickly. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Rodent replaces in ecosystem: Black rat Eats: Everything Social structure: Disorganised habitat: Anywhere Rarity: varies on location Brief comment: Invasive and deadly Breeding method: Eggs ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: lygodot The Sadistic Pokemon Type 1/ Dark Type 2/ Height: 0' 10" Weight: 0.8lbs General Pokedex data: This little pokemon loves to jab at people with its pointy tail. It will sneak up on sleeping pokemon, and jab them thoroughly with the barb situated there. Not especially intelligent, and not terribly kind. Invariably male. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Juvenile replaces in ecosystem: Nothing Eats: Carnivore Social structure: Organised habitat: Mountains/Plains Rarity: Rare Brief comment: Nasty little blighters! Breeding method: None ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: lygofella The sadistic Pokemon Type 1/ Dark Type 2/ Height: 2' 0" Weight: 7lbs General Pokedex data: This dark type faerie pokemon is invariably male. It isn't a favorite among Fairy type enthusiasts as it tends to do a lot of damage to other species of fairy, seeing them as either competition, or mates, with no grey areas. However, if kept alone, or with other pokemon of non fairy type, it can become a loyal pokemon, if, for the most part, not exactly loving. In the wild, groups of this pokemon will stalk colonies of other fairy types, kill all the males, and take the females as thier own, forming a new colony. Chansey and Blissey are thier favored prey, because there are no males, and therefore, less effort involved in capturing a colony. In any colony, there is usually one leader, and varying ranks of suboordinates. They hunt in packs. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Fairy replaces in ecosystem: Nothing Eats: Carnivore Social structure: Organised habitat: Mountains/Plains Rarity: Rare Brief comment: Not the nicest of pokemon to hang out with. Breeding method: Sexual ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: lygolurk The Aggressive Pokemon Type 1/ Dark Type 2/ Height: 4' 5" Weight: 35lbs General Pokedex data: This fairy pokemon tends to be ruthless in its treatment of other fairy type pokes, and fairly indifferent when it comes to other kinds, unless it is eating them. Invariably male, it will fight with others of its species to assert dominance, and become strong. In the wild, groups of this pokemon will stalk colonies of other fairy types, kill all the males, and take the females as thier own, forming a new colony. Chansey and Blissey are thier favored prey, because there are no males, and therefore, less effort involved in capturing a colony. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: Fairy replaces in ecosystem: Nothing Eats: Carnivore Social structure: Organised habitat: Mountains/Plains Rarity: Rare Brief comment: Not the nicest of pokemon to hang out with. Breeding method: Sexual ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Soakat The sea cat Pokemon Type 1/ Ghost Type 2/ Water Height: 2' 3" Weight: 0lbs General Pokedex data: Ever wonder why most cats hate water so much? This is why. An instinctive desire to never end up as one of these. Soakat are the souls of felines drowned in the sea. Despite being cats, stuck in the water, for the most part, they're one of the few ghosts that make the best of thier situation, and enjoy themselves playing in the water. They usually keep the markings they had in life, though, in various shades of blues, purples, and greens. They enjoy playing in the waves, and tricking ocean carnivores who will try to eat them, and are astonished as they simply phaze in and out of the predators closed mouth. They feed on surprise, and so tend to do thier best to startle ocean birds, and sleeping seals. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: None replaces in ecosystem: Nothing Eats: Surprise Social structure: Solitary habitat: Shore Rarity: Ultra rare Brief comment: Likely to surprise shore-living animals and humans. Breeding method: None ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Species name: Soakold The chillykitty Pokemon Type 1/ Ghost Type 2/ Ice Height: 5' 3" Weight: 0lbs General Pokedex data: Much larger than its pre-evolution. This crafty ice type tends to dwell down in the deeper areas of the ocean, or in areas of coastline with a lot of caves. it likes the dark. It tends to feel more on fear than surprise, however, it needs to eat much less than you'd think, looking at its size. However, even though it likes to scare people and pokemon, it is not a malicious creature, and has been reported to lead lost ships into ports, and beckon lost people and pokemon out at sea, back to shore. It will simply feed off of thier natural fear untill they are safe, and then dissapear into the mists and waves of the cold, cold sea. Its lonely cries sound like howling wind and crashing waves, and can be heard on winter nights on deserted areas of coastline. Discovered by: Jimim Breeding group: None replaces in ecosystem: Nothing Eats: Surprise Social structure: Solitary habitat: Shore Rarity: Ultra rare Brief comment: Known to rescue lost pokemon and humans while feeding on thier fear Breeding method: None
