07-09-00 Okay, I'm back again, and I finally updated a little bit of shit on the page. Ummm, let's see, there's mor pictures on the picture page thanks to Rachael and I'll probably be dividing the pictures up to individual members and group pictures here pretty soon. Other than that, I might add the next two shows to the Tour page, and Michael Kurek has replace Kris Potts on bass. We were sad to see Kris go, but Kurek is tearing it up and helping pave new roads for LOT. So be on the look out for some "more sweet fuckin action" from Lak-O-Talent.
04-15-00 Ah, finally, we added videos to the page. They are in the video section. Eat that Debbi! You too Saxen-ass.

After a long time offline, I'm back. (for what it's worth) Anyways, LOT may or may not play IndieFest, the reason they may not play is because they have to sell 30 tickets by this Sunday and haven't even sold half that yet. If you want tickets, call Les at 867-5353. If there aren't enough tickets sold, all money will be refunded. It would be fun to play that, but with the last show sucking so much ass and all, I can't see it happening. Apathy is a bitch, sometimes we have to deal with it.

Well, despite wide spread rumors, John "Humpty" Humphries (Lovitz) is NOT, I repeat IS NOT dead. Here's the scoop. John has cancer in his brain. Since Sunday, he had been sick constantly. Tuesday night he went to sleep. He did not wake up Wednesday morning. He was in a coma. He has since recovered greatly. He should be moved to a private room tomorrow, but he does not want any visitors. I'm sorry, but that's the way it has to be. John is one of the most important aspects of Lak-O-Talent's live show. He is also one of my closest friends. I hate to sound like a dick here, but it pisses me off and saddens me at the same time that people will assume just because someone is in a coma, that they are dead, he has drifted in and out of sleep since late last night, and can not talk on his own yet. He should be off the respirator tomorrw, so I hope to be able to talk to him then. Our hopes and prayers have been with him, and will continue to be with him until he is fully recovered. I hope that this clears the air of any false information spread around, he is a good man, and doesn't deserve the kind of shit he's been getting. That's all for now.

Well, LOT made an appearance at the JS show last night, and it was
interesting, to say the least. I'd like to extend a happy hello to all
the new LOT fans, Jump Start, Katie, Rachael, Marcy, Kevin Moore, Ryan
Baker, Tyler McMullen, Brandon Crum, all the homies
out there, we really love you guys, really. A new show is on the Tour
page, we're playing with the Ataris in Marion on the 27th. I can't wait,
we're gonna tear shit up. Oh yeah, I also added pictures to the Picture
page. Come see the March 3rd show, it'll be
the best LOT show ever.

Um, what can I say, I guess
we've got a SlamBook now, but we've not yet set it up, so I guess when
we set it up, we'll put the link on the page so you, our loyal fan, can
tear us a new one. Oh yeah, true story: Lak-O-Talent wanted to play the
Westfield High School Battle of the Bands, but didn't want to "pay to play,"
so the old Shakester (Shakey) was talking to our Assistant Principal about
it, and he threw down on the entry fee. So I guess you can check
Lak-O-Talent out at the Westfield High School Battle of the Bands. It's
on the tour page, so check it out.

This weekend, we made the
first ever Lak-O-Talent CD. It's tentativelly titled "Maladjusted Social
Tenedencies" The only problem is that the tape player used to record the
songs from tape to my computer is fucked up and didn't read the tape right
in quite a few places, so it sounds sort of shitty. Long story short, I
have to use Shakey's stereo for the transfer because his always reads it
correctly. Then, you will be give the opportunity to purchase your very
own Lak-O-Talent CD to play for all your friends! The original version
is owned by Shakey, but copies can be made with no problem for a price.
Cover art has been made, but will not be provided with the first, demo
version. This post marks the first and second cuss words, repectively on
the Official LOT webpage. Yeah, now everyone say "nipples are fun and
functional!"
Oh, and a show has been added to the tour page, and another possible show
TBA.

Well, what can I say, the
new page looks better than ever, I'd just like to thank Troy and the boys
at Jump Start for helping us out in a time of dire need. We really appreciate
it, seriously, we love ya guys! Oh yeah, today's my birthday, I'm
18 now, love me (Chicken Man).
