Hello.  My name is Las Williams.  Looks hard to pronounce?  It's actually very easy.  The umlaut over the "i" means that letter and the one preceeding it are pronounced as two separate syllables:  la-eece; it rhymes with Patrice.  LAS.  I graduated from a dual-degree program at The New School University: the Writing Program with a concentration in Fiction at Eugene Lang College, and the Fine Arts program at Parsons School of Design, in Spring of 2003.   I write short stories, paint, make collages both by hand and using computer software, I make welded metal dresses, structures and costumes to be used in conjunction with performances, and make 3d models, movies, and scenes using 3d Studio Max.  I spent the Spring 2002 semester on mobility at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. After graduating in 2003, I interned at Pixel Monkeys, a 3D animation/video effects studio. I am currently working at the New York Institute of Photography, a distance education company, as a junior graphic designer. My computer skills include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark XPress, Macromedia Dreamweaver, 3d Studio Max and Combustion. Scroll down after viewing the pictures for a statement about each.
