Mission Statement: To facilitate my students learning with functional life skills that will ultimately lead them to greater independence.


Curriculum:The  class  meets a  variety of state standards (CAPA) through multiple activities. These activities include core academic subject areas (reading, writing, mathmatics) all focused with a functional life skills applications, reports, internet use, vocational training, cooking projects, and socialization opportunities. The students are also mainstreamed into general education classes such as computers, band, culinary arts, health, history, and science courses. Our class has a heavy focus on community integration and training. We have community trips usually twice a month, we mobility train by  using public transportation.

Service Collaboration: We work with Adapted P.E., Speech and Langauge services, Orientation and mobility, Physical therapy, Dept of Mental Health, and Workability,
