JOHN KINCAID, SR., (1710-1811), �The Old Patriarch�, born in Ireland to Scottish parents, Robert Kincaid (1686) and Elizabeth North.  Settled at Carlisle, Pennsylvania around 1745. Moved to Charlottesville, Virginia area in 1759. Moved to Tyron, Lincoln Co, N.C. in the 1767. First Kincaid to settle in N.C.  Went to Burke Co and purchased 1400 acres of land in 1797.  First married to Julia Avery (1715), and then to Nancy Nixon (ca 1720) after the death of Julia in Carlisle. He is buried in the Old Kincaid Cemetery in Burke Co,  north of Morganton, N.C

JAMES KINCAID, SR, (1754-1836), He was born in Lancaster, Pa. to John Kincaid, SR (1710) and Nancy Nixon (1720). He married Jane Reed (1767-1830).  They had eight children.  He is buried in the Old Kincaid Cemetery, N.C

JAMES REED (JAMES NOSELY) KINCAID, (1800-1890). Born to James Kincaid, SR (1754) and Jane Reed (1767).  Married first to Marish Scott, then to Verlintia (Linchy) Harbison. Marish had 3 children. Verlintia had 2 children.  He is buried in the Harbison-Kincaid Cemetery in Burke Co, N.C

THOMAS W. (Tom) KINCAID, (1834-1886). Born to James (Jame Nosely, 1800) and Marish Scott. Married to Adeline (Eliza Ann) Hemphill (1844).  Had eight children. He served in the American Civil War.  His name is listed on the monument at the Old Morganton Court House.  He is buried in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery, Morganton, N.C (Burke County)

JAMES TILDEN (Tool) KINCAID, (1876-1966), Born in Lenoir, N.C.  He was the son of Thomas W.(1834) and Adeline Hemphill (1844). Married first to Alice Mabelle Cloer, (9-30-1878 -1905) in Lenoir, NC.  She was the daughter of George Washington Cloer (1850) and Nancy Dougleas. They had 2 children: Roy Washington Kincaid (My Father) (1900) and- Nannie (Katie) Kincaid (1905), After  Alice's death in 1905, J.T. married Mabel Clair  McGhee (1899). They had 3 children:- Elizabeth, James T. Jr, and Robert Kincaid. He worked in a feed and grain store for as long as can be remembered, until several years before his death.  He is buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Roanoke VA

ROY WASHINGTON KINCAID (1900-1961), Son of James Tilden Kincaid (1876) and Alice Cloer (1878). Born in Lenoir N.C.  Married Irene Virginia Guthrie, (born 1914 in Charlotte Co, Va, died in 1992). They had 2 children:  Helen Louise (1932) and  James Elliott (1935).  He worked as a baker in bakeries throughout Roanoke VA all his life. He is buried Cedar Lawn Cemetery Cemetery, Roanoke, VA.

James Elliott Kincaid (May 17, 1935 - May 2, 2007), Born in Roanoke VA to Roy Washington Kincaid (1900) and Irene V. Guthrie (1914). Married Joan Edney Caldwell (1938 � in Roanoke VA) at Jefferson Street Baptist Church by Rev B.L. Mozingo on December 20, 1957.  We have to sons, Jeffrey Elliott (1963), and Robert Keith (1965)  Jim is buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Roanoke, VA.

Jeffrey Elliott Kincaid (March 6, 1963 � Roanoke Memorial hospital in Roanoke VA) Jeffrey first married Angelia Potter. Dewitt (1962 � Charleston SC) in 1988, Divorced in 1994.  They had 3 children, James Tyler (Nov 27, 1988), Ainsley Elizabeth (Oct 2, 1990) and Jessie Alexandra �Alex� (Jan 17, 1993) In Mar 2000, Jeff then married Morgan Rhyne Bigham (Feb 12, 1980 � Greensboro, NC). They divorced in 2002. They have one son, Ian Patrick (Aug 31, 2000)

Robert Keith Kincaid (November 19, 1965 � Roanoke Memorial Hospital) Keith married Cheryl Borszich (1968) in 1993 in Roanoke VA.  They have 4 children, Jessica Lynn (1995), Robert James (1996), Cecelia Elizabeth (2004), Everett Charles (2006)
