GRIEF
When you think about your family, your loved ones, your friends
You assume they'll always be there, In your mind there is no end
Then fate comes along and before you know it, someone has been taken away
Your world is shattered, people are talking but you don't hear what they say
Your body seems to be working, the world appears to be the same
But now the heart feels empty, your eyes water on hearing their name
You feel life will never be the same, everywhere you look is his face
Nowhere seems like home now and there's a void in every place
You need to know everyone feels the loss, the heartache and the pain
And as time goes on you'll learn to cope and smile once again.

  Michael Mallon 1981 - 2001
      Sadly Missed By All!
I dedicate this poem not only to my Joey but to all of his family and anyone who knew Michael, a true gem if ever there was one!
