This page includes pictures from our neighborhood near the center of Haarlem.  The first four photos were taken from our roof terrace, from which we could see almost all of the city.
The picture to the right is of the Bakenesserkerk, which was right next to our apartment and whose bells we heard all day, especially when the windows were open in the summer.  It no longer operates as a church.
This picture was hanging in the window of a place that teaches art to mentally handicapped people.  Audra and Brad thought the man bore an uncanny resemblance to American politician Dick Gephardt.  They used this picture as a landmark when trying to find their way back to our place when out on their own.
