"Tis the season to be merry" for Christmas time is here.
A time for friends and family, and for everyone to be near.
My daughters will come, and my grandchildren I will see,
Although I just lost Mom, she will also be here with me.
This past year I joined all the people in Sands of Time.
They have become friends, this second family of mine.
They sure helped when needed and were all there for me.
They amaze, dazzle, amuse, and make me laugh you see.
Pogo can bee quite stingy and the wheel can be fickle,
But the stories you read, the funny bone do tickle.
I am glad that I came and met everyone there.
I wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

A Time Of Sharing
I would like to share something with all my new friends at the Sands of Time e-group. This is a Christmas poem that I wrote many years ago, when I was sixteen and was published in 1998 by the International Library of Poetry.
"It's Christmas"
The hills are covered with blankets of snow
For Christmas is here as you well know.
There's Jingle Bells and Silent Night
And a Christmas tree what a beautiful sight!
This day is Holy, for Christ was born
In a manger, so many years worn.
So, we'll count our Blessings on this day
And remember the Child, that lay in the hay.
For the star that shined so bold and bright
Will shine again, on this Glorious Night!
