Il Mare means sea  in Italian

 "Il Mare" is the name of a seafront house where two lovers reside in at two different times. The movie starts off when l Eunju is moving out of a house by the sea. The name of the house is Il Mare. She leaves a letter to the next tenant in the house's mailbox to forward her letter to her new address. An architect Sunghyun has moved into the new house by the sea when he finds Eunju's letter in his mailbox. He discovers that Eunju is actually 2 years ahead of him in time, she had lived in his house after he leaves and the mailbox is somehow connecting them through time. They start exchanging letters and a friendship grows................

Il Mare is a masterpiece of a romantic movie.  This love story is simply superlative.
