Laila and 'Moony' became friends immediately after Moon's entry into SotF. Though their friendship has been rocky at best, at times.. they have managed to stick it through. More like sisters than friends, there is nothing Laila wouldn't do for her dear friend. Moon and Sona were there when no one else was.. during her pregnancy and the birth of her babes. Moon actually delivered the cherubs that Laila's whole world once revolved around. Forever, Laila will be indebted to her friend and adore her. Moon has not only stood beside her as a friend through tough times, but through business matters too. Moony had become Lailas 'better half' while running SotF, serving as Laila's SiC [Second in Command]. The honesty between the two can be sometimes downright brutal and cruel. Then again, that is a sign of a true friend... honest to the end.
For the gifts she has been given by each, she is bonded to them.. for better or worse.

Richter Belmont
The first time she saw him enter the Inn of Sin, her mouth dropped open and her tongue wagged. Mmm.. Mmm.. Mr Yummy! His whole demeanor spoke of professionalism and raw male magnetism. She was pregnant at the time, and in need of a new bodyguard. A friend had picked him out actually for Laila after interviewing him extensively. With a stamp of approval by both ladies- Trevor Darkholme became Laila's new body guard. Little did he know the responsibilities he would assume. Lamaze, help raising her babes, and a friedship and loyalty far past the calls of duty, he took on with stride and a smile. He has become a part of her family. Her children adored him- as does she. He is one of her closest confidants. There is nothing she wouldnt do for him, and she is extremely protective of him and the love he feels for his girlfriend.
If she only she had a penny for every time Rya had stood beside her as a friend, a protector, and a confidant- well ,she would be rich. [Oh wait. She is. heh]. Rya was that silent force that she knew she could turn to when ever and for what ever. Never did he pass judgement but always he offered a shoulder and a hand. Such loyalty was rare. Only a handful seemed to offer it truthfully to her. He.. had no reason to do so, but he did time and time again. Funny how every time she needed him- he would find her and be there to make the world alive with color for her. How he made her smile and laugh when all she wanted was to release her anger. He touched a part of her that few can see. A softer side. A side that was vulnerable and in need of affection.
Fate has a way of tying people together. One night, while making her rounds, she slipped into the Inn to find two men talking. From that night on- for several months- the three unlikely members became the 'Three muskateers'. Richter Belmont, SotF's playboy of Lust was one such member. It was Richter that pushed Laila and Gabriel together. He would push for her happiness and thought it would be best found in the arms of Gabriel Gunther. Later, he would regret that decision. When Laila hurt- Richter couldnt watch it. Therefore, he took off to take care of business and put the past behind him. Later he would return. Their friendship would pick up right where it left off. There is a very close bond between the two. Richter tends to watch over Laila as an older brother would.
Quest and Laila go way back. It is difficult to say why their friendship has lasted. Both think themselves superior to others, including each other. However, when all else seemed to collapse around her, Quest would take a protective stance .... even to the point of being brutally honest with her and bringing out her rage. On several encounters in the past, it almost seemed as if these two would be more than friends. Heavens knows they had plenty of opportunities. All that would come of their union would be an understanding, and a protective demeanon between the two. Like so many others, Quest does not know Lailas true origins. It isnt that she doesnt trust Quest to know, it is simply... if he considers her just a sick woman.. all the better. Quest is a live-wire and sometimes Laila isnt sure where he will land.
