| Youth Empowerment Activists (YEA!) is a youth and adult led, community-based, membership initiative open to all the youth of NYC. YEA! develops youth leaders that are aware of the needs of their community while learning procedures to address these needs. Working in partnership with schools and organizations on projects that encourage youth involvement with social issues the program provides youth members the opportunity to learn how to organize and advocate for their rights by creating, organizing, and managing events, projects, and grass root campaigns for social change with youth from all over NYC! |
