| MILO a Rescue in SOUTH LOS ANGELES Feb 2003. He was missing loads of fur, had bite marks of unknown origin, was full of fleas, ticks, ear mites, his eyes were badly infected, he was very wild, and he even had months old stitches left in from a recent surgery! Bless you Debbie xo !! |

| Winston was in Rescue placement with a WONDERFUL lady Tammy M. Waiting for someone to take him home with them for good... He was found in a back yard discarded because he wasnt a 'cute puppy' anymore and 'required too much attention'....... With MANY health problems due to neglect....under Tammy's care he has flourished and nearly fully recovered...!! Tammy has a couple of pooches of her own too !! God Bless Tammy and those like her involved in ANIMAL RESCUE SERVICES.... |

| Little McKENZIE here came from POLAND..where she sat in a petshop for SIX months before RESCUED by New England Bull Terrier Rescue in the U.S.A !! She was severely underweight and full of whipworms... She was placed in a home with a couple who couldnt handle her and crated her ALL the TIME...!! New England to the Rescue again... | Here is CG & YANKEE's STORY : By the time he was 5, Yankee had been housed outside on Concrete all his life....he was covered in callouses from lying on it all day. He was totally afraid of me and would Duk & COWER when you went to pet him... Said by the former owner to have been Dog [and other Animals] Aggressive, he was MUZZLED constantly by him. Thank God this insensitive creep surrendered Yankee to Animal Rescue... New owner and love of his life DEB....tells us with pride that there have not been any clues to this 'said' aggression... Yankee even came nose to nose with a wild bunny rabbit, looked at it....and walked away... It is clear to see that he has the biggest heart around... This fact stiffled by his former 'owner'....but brought to its full potential by Deb B. God bless Jackie M, Silvana S & Jane K for giving him a new 'leash' on life...and DEB B....for showing him what LOVE was all about..xoxoxo Now CG.... [ short for CRAZY GIRL...] was relinquished at 8 months of age by her 'owner' who unceremoniously DUMPED her at a Shelter. She was alone and completely unsocialized... Deb & Yankee's home was only meant as a TEMPORARY stopover until CG found a home of her own.... With Debs' love for Bullies...that temporary stopover became a PERMANENT family setting for lovely CG.....and YANKEE QUITE AGREED with her !! | SWEETPEA is his name...."TOOT" for short ! having endured as much as he has.... and still working on 'finding himself.' Full of Fleas & Ticks, covered in scratches and cuts and scars, incredibly underweight, broken ear, thought to have been deaf at first...found it only to be TOTAL LACK of Human Contact. Neck stained from being CHAINED outside for the greater part of his life.... Completely TERRIFIED of even the SOUND of FOOD in his bowl.... Thought to have been a 'BAIT' bully at first... Was obviously COMPLETELY NEGLECTED.... If he could only TALK... MATUTE is approximately 4-5 years old..... Bless his little heart xo UPDATE : Oct 2003..... Found to be ALSO blind in one eye.... TOOT is still very afraid of his surroundings. He is most certainly going to take a LOT of loving to get him feeling 'normal'.... LIZ is his Angel. He is just barely warming up to her right now. She is certainly the RIGHT lady to take care of the little lad and help him find himself. I believe I see him smiling now !! LIZ WE ALL LOVE YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS, COMPASSION & PATIENCE !!
