Jessica~ Lori! Hurry up! The meet and greet starts in 10 minutes!

Lori~ I'm coming! I'm coming!/ Lori rolled her eyes and took one more look at herself in the mirror. She wanted to make sure she looked perfect but she knew that would never happen considering the fact that she didn't look like Britney Spears even though her ex-friend Sasha thought so./

Jessica~ I don't hear footsteps.

Lori~ That's because I'm not moving yet./ She rolled her eyes again and thought to herself, I don't even want to go to this stupid meet and greet anyway. I don't want to make an idiot out of myself. And you're the one who practically begged me to go. OK. So I wanted to go but you're the one who finally convinced me to go. You said that I would never get an opportunity like that again. /But.....lalalalalalalala.........it happens everytime when I see you...it happens everytime when I think of you.....Oh great I have this stupid Dream Street song stuck in my head. This is just dandy! Thanks a lot Jessica.

Jessica~ LORI! COME ON! WE HAVE TO GET THERE BEFORE THE OTHER FANS SHOW UP!

Lori~ Alright. I'm coming. Calm down./ She walked out of the bathroom and saw that her friend was practically freaking out. Jessica grabbed her arm and practically dragged her outside to the car./ Come on Jessica. Let me go! I think I can manage getting to the car by myself. I'm not 4 years old you know.

Jessica~ OK. I'm sorry. It's just...I really want to get there early.

Lori~ I know, but if the meet and greet starts in 10 minutes, don't you think the fans are already starting to show up?/ Jessica looked over at her and thought for a moment./

Jessica~ Yeah and that's exactly why I want to get going. I really want to see Chris./ Lori stared at her friend in complete shock and disbelief. Jessica knew that she had a crush on him, but that didn't stop her from liking him. Lori knew that by the time they left the meet and greet Chris would be wrapped around her little finger. She rolled her eyes. She was disgusted. They're not even that great, she thought to herself./

Lori~ I thought you liked Greg.

Jessica~ I did but now I like Chris.

Lori~ Oh. I see./ That's just typical of you anyway. I mean you like a new guy every other day. Me.........when I like a guy it's for months at a time or years at a time. And I go all out even though I'd never get a chance with any of them. That's my problem. I always like the guys I can't get and the guys that I can get- Well, I don't want anything to do with them because they're disgusting and nasty looking, she thought to herself. The guys I like are usually taken, too. They're usually going out with the most popular guys in school. Guys that don't even know I'm alive. Her inner voice rambled on and on with random thoughts./

/At the mall, girls were already lining up and the line was out the door and around the corner. The line was backed up to Macy's when the girls finally arrived. They didn't really talk; Lori was too mad for words, especially when she found out that her "best friend" liked the same guy as her. But she knew that she would never get a chance seeing how she wasn't outgoing and flirtatious like her "good friend" Jessica. They were totally and completely opposite. Lorr, as she called herself, looked around at the sight that was right in front of her and was disgusted at how sleezy the girls looked. They were dressed as if it was 140 degrees outside and were wearing very little clothing. Sluts, she thought to herself. Oh well, that's what guys like. They like sluts seeing how they're only after one thing./

Lori~ Would you mind if I went to American Eagle?/ She looked at Jessica who was too busy jumping and down, trying to see the guys. Lori thought she looked like a moron./

Jessica~ Why do you want to go to American Eagle?/ She eyed her friend suspiciously and Lori explained to her why she wanted to go. Finally, Jessica gave in and let her go./

/By the time Lori got back to FYE where the meet and greet was it was all over and the girls were gone. Lori was relieved. She didn't want to put up with girls who thought they were hot shit. She had to put up with that at school and she definitely didn't want to put up with that outside of school. The guys were still there though and they were entertaining Jessica by singing "Sugar Rush". Doing what she does best, Lori rolled her eyes. Jessica turned around when she heard footsteps and called Lori over. Reluctantly and hesitantly, Lori headed in their direction./

Jessica~ Hey Lorr!

Lori~ Jessica.

Jessica~ You missed a great meet and greet.

Lori~ I'm sure I did./ She looked around and realized that the guys were staring at her which made her extremely self-concious... more than she already was. Then she looked away./ So um you ready to go?

Chris~ Actually we invited her to hang out with us.

Greg~ You can hang out with us, too if you want to.

Lori~ Nah. I'm all set. I think I'll just hang out by myself. Thanks.

Jessica~ Come on Lorr. Hang out with us. The guys are really nice and they don't bite.

Greg~ Yeah. We don't bite. We only bite when they tell us to.

Lori~ Haha./ She rolled her eyes and walked off, heading in the direction of the exit./

Matt~ Well, that was definitely interesting.

Jessica~ I'm gonna go talk to her. I'll be right back./ Once the guys nodded she left the store and found Lori looking at the assortment of shirts in Sears. Slowly and quietly she walked over to her./Hi Lori.

Lori~ So, what do you think of this shirt? Dumb Blonde? Personally I think it's great and suits me real well./ Jessica stared at her and wondered why her friend was acting so weird. Jessica asked her and Lori explained to her that she didn't even want to be there and that she didn't know why she agreed to going. Then Lori said that the guys were conceited and stuck up. That's when Jessica got defensive and started sticking up for them. Lori retaliated with a nasty comment, basically saying that she only liked them because they were members of a boy band that was new to the pop scene. Jessica was shocked at her friend's outburst./

Jessica~ That's not true! I'd like them even if they weren't in a boy band. I'd like them even if they were poor and livin' on the street./ What Jessica didn't realize was that the guys were standing right behind her listening to every word that was coming out of her mouth./I'd like them if they went to my school and weren't in a boy band.

/Lori stared at her friend in horror then realized that the guys were standing right behind her friend, which made her extremely angry./

Lori~ I'm the one who says that! You say that you only like them because they're hot and because they sing in a band! You only like them because you think that if you get close to them they can hook you up with Aaron Carter and I have news for you! Your secret is out!

Jessica~ What the heck is that supposed to mean?

/Lori smiled slyly./

Lori~ Turn around and see for yourself./ Once Jessica turned around and saw that the guys were standing there, staring at her in disbelief, she got scared and walked off, knowing that they probably would yell at her. Jessica disappeared into the sea of bodies and the guys walked over to Lori./

Chris~ H- Hi.

Lori~ Hi.

Matt~ Aren't you the girl who left the meet and greet?

Lori~ How do you know I left?

Guys~ We saw you leave.

Chris~ So, why'd you leave?

Lori~ Because I didn't want to be surrounded by a bunch of obnoxious girls who think they're hot shit.

Matt~ I guess that's understandable.

Greg~ What's your name?

Lori~ It's Lori.
