Chapter Fourteen- I Feel Better....Thanks 2 You
After she had finished the chicken noodle soup Matt and Lynn cooked for her, Lorr flopped down on the couch and said, "That was good."
"Was it really?" Matt asked surprised. He sat beside her and she got closer to him and put her arm around him.
"Have I lied to you?" she looked up at him.
"No." he looked down at her and said, "You haven't lied to me princess."
"I won't lie to you. EVER."
She kissed his hand and he said, "You kissed my hand."
"Good boy. You're so smart." Lorr giggled.
"And cute." He laughed then kissed her forehead.
"For a punk, Matt, you're quite...how do you say it? um...sweet?"
"Gee...thanks...I think."
"Hehe." She giggled.
"You're a punk too. You do know that, right?"
"I learn from you." she reminded him.
"Would you ever go out with me?"
Lorr looked at him as if he was crazy and then said, "I dunno. Maybe Matty boy. Why?"
"Because I really like you a lot....if it isn't obvious already. I wouldn't cook for just anybody you know."
"I must be somebody special then if you're cooking soup for me." She smiled at him.
"Very special. I never cooked anything for what's her face."
Lori burst out laughing hysterically and kept laughing for about 10 minutes straight. Matt laughed and said, "You are such a loser."
"Yeah but you love me anyway." she teased.
"Yeah, I guess that's true."
"You guess?" She giggled and said, "No wonder I don't believe you."
"Be nice."
"I'm always nice!" she protested. "You get mad at me for calling you an asshole but you probably think I'm a bitch."
"You may be a bitch but I love ya anyway."
She pouted and said, "I'm not a bitch."
"Aww. I know baby girl. You're a pretty witch."
"Oh. Now I'm a witch?"
"You're a beautiful princess?"
"Don't get smart with me."
"I love you princess."
"I love you too." She giggled.
"You are such a tease."
"Love you too baby." She stuck her tongue out at him.
Matt retaliated by doing the same thing and pretty soon they were laughing at how stupid they were acting. But Matt stopped laughing and asked, "Do you feel any better Lorr?"
