Chapter Seventeen: A Lil' Hot 'N' Heavy
Jessica: What's with you?
Lori: Nothin'.
Jessica: Why are you so giggly all of a sudden?
Lori: No reason.
Jessica: Did somethin' happen between you and Matt?
Narrator: We 'hooked up' last night if you count that as something happening between me and Matt, Lori thought to herself. The girls were hanging out at the mall and just as Jessica was about to ask the question again, the guys showed up. (Chris Trousdale, Greg Raposo, Jesse McCartney, Frankie Galasso and Matt Ballinger) Lori looked at Matt and he looked at her. They only had one thing on their mind- what had happened last night.
Greg: Hi Lorr. Hi Jess.
Girls: Hi Greg.
Narrator: Matt didn't take his eyes off of her. He eyed her up and down, checking her out.
Lori: What are you guys doin' here?
Chris: Lookin' for some hotties. What are you ladies doing?
Jessica: I take it you haven't had much luck findin' some hotties.
Matt: I did. And we 'hooked up' last night, he added to himself.
Lori: You did?
Matt: Yeah, I did.
Jessica: And who would that be?
Matt: I'm lookin' at her.
Narrator: Lori just looked at him and all she could picture was them fooling around the night before. She had to get away. She had to leave. She walked away and disappeared down a long hallway that led to the restrooms. Matt hesitated before running after her. Finally he caught up to her and he grabbed her arm. She turned to face him and when she did he took her face in his hands and deeply kissed her. She kissed him back as his hands explored her body. Knowing that they were in a public place she controlled herself and backed away. Matt tried to catch his breath.
Matt: God I want you.
Narrator: Lori grinned and he put his arms around her, hugging her. She hugged him back and then slowly backed away. She kissed him gently on the lips and he kissed her back with just as much passion and heat as before. He backed away, wanting to leave her begging for more.
Matt: I love you.
Lori: I love you, too. (pause) Will you spend the night again?
Matt: Yeah.
Narrator: We're not gonna fool around Matt. I just want you to hold me in your arms, she thought quietly to herself. Maybe we'll fool around some other time.
Matt: If you really want me to.
Lori: I want you to. I just---
Matt: We need to be together.
Narrator: Jesse, Chris, Greg, Frankie and Jessica showed up.
Jesse: Did you guys have sex last night?
Narrator: Lori and Matt froze on the spot. They couldn't believe that Jesse had just asked them such a personal question.
Matt and Lori: That is none of your business Jesse.
Narrator: The guys didn't move and neither did Jessica. They were in too much shock.
Jesse: What if she gets pregnant?
Lori: We didn't have sex Jesse. Now just drop it. PLEASE?!?!?
Narrator: Matt slipped his arm around her waist and whispered something in her ear, which made her giggle. Then they walked off.
