Narrator: After Lori's mom dropped them off at the mall, Lori let out a sigh of relief. Greg looked over at her and smiled.
Greg: Your mom's really cool.
Frankie: Yeah I know. I can't believe she's letting us stay over.
Jesse: I thought we were staying in a hotel.
Greg: Change of plans. Sorry Jesse.
Chris: Should we call Claudia and let her know?
Matt: Do we have any concerts or anything tomorrow?
Greg: We have the day off, but the day after we're going to be busy. We have a radio interview, a sound check, a meet and greet then a concert.
Lori: Wow. You guys are going to be busy.
Matt: You're comin' with us right?
Lori: I don't know.
Greg: What do you mean you don't know?
Lori: I mean, I don't want to get in the way.
Matt: You won't be in the way.
Chris: Yeah. Besides, Greg wants you with him.
Lori: I want him with me, too, but I don't want him to get sick of me.
Greg: I won't get sick of you. I love being around you. And I want you with me...always. I've already told you that.
Lori: I know....
Chris: So are you comin' with us?
Frankie: We want you to come. We're inviting you to come. Now come!!
Lori: Alright. I'll come.
Guys: YES!!
Narrator: They went inside and Lori immediately left her boyfriend and her friends. She started heading for K- Mart when somebody grabbed her by the hand. She turned around and saw Greg standing there, looking extremely hot. She just wanted to jump him.
Greg: Where are you going?
Lori: I was gonna go look at CDs.
Greg: Want me to come with you?
Narrator: Lori just looked at him, the way she always does, and nodded. Chris, Matt, Frankie and Jesse followed them into the store.
Chris: Lori, have you ever been to New York?
Lori: Umm...when I went to Washington, D.C. in 8th grade we ate at a restaurant in New York. They actually charged me extra money because I didn't want mayonnaise on my blt. (pause) Other than that, no I haven't.
Greg: You've been through it but you haven't actually been to New York City and saw the sights.
Lori: If you want to get technical about it, yeah, you're right.
Chris: Well maybe if you come to New York we could show you around.
Lori: That'd be cool.
Matt: (changing the subject) So have you thought about what we asked you?
Lori: And what would that be?
Matt: If you could be friends with anyone.......
Lori: I don't know. If I say some girl group I got competition....
Greg: Well, I'm all about you so you have nothing to worry about.
Lori: Yeah.
Greg: What's wrong?
Matt: I think she's scared of losing you.
Lori: I am scared of losing him.
Greg: YOU WON'T LOSE ME!!!!!!
Narrator: Lori let go of his hand and walked off, heading straight for the entertainment department, with only one thing on her mind- Greg. She couldn't believe he yelled at her, but she knew he was just trying to drill it into her head. She tried to believe him, but she needed proof that she wouldn't lose him.
Matt: What are you going to do with her dude?
Greg: Nothing. I'm gonna love her.
Chris: I bet this is her first serious relationship.
Greg: I was her first kiss, too.
Matt: You were?
Greg: Yeah.
Jesse: Is she a good kisser?
Greg: Well, I was left speechless and breathless....and I almost fell over from when I kissed her at the meet and greet.....you tell me.
Jesse: Yep. She's a good kisser.
Greg: And don't you guys go gettin' any ideas. This girl is mine.
Matt: We won't get any ideas.
Greg: Good.
Chris: Do you think she's mad at you 'cuz you yelled at her?
Greg: I hope not.
Narrator: Lori came out of K- Mart and saw the guys talking and decided to go to Waldenbooks. She picked up M magazine and started flipping through the pages, stopping at a page that had Dream Street pictures on it. All of a sudden she felt somebody tap her on the shoulder, which made her turn around. It was Greg.
Greg: Hey dollface.
Lori: Hi sweetie.
Greg: You OK?
Narrator: She looked back at the magazine she was holding and then looked up at him.
Lori: Yeah, I'm fine.
Greg: You sure?
Lori: Yea, I'm sure. I guess I just need to eat something.
Greg: Come on.
