I adopted a stray rabbit who had been a failed Easter experiment. The little bunny had been hopping around the neighborhood for about six months before we caught her.

After my little Spot passed away at the end of January 2004 from an abscess, I had empty cage syndrome. We contacted some breeders asking what they had available. Candice at Curious Critters emailed me and offered me Sparky for free.

She tugs on my sleeve when I am petting Scooter.
She pancakes for nose pets.
She rattles her cage door when I come home.

When we brought her home she raced around the living room at top speed

We decided that we would get a pair so we wouldn't have a lonely bunny. We found Scooter at MC's Rabbitry. We brought Sparky and Scooter home on the same day - a 150 mile loop to get them. By the time we made the final 50 mile car ride home they were friends.

She races around at top speed
She pancakes for nose pets.
She chews on things she isn't supposed to and then looks up at my with an innocent "who me" look
