About the Member

Theresa (bunnygirl59) has been an LL member since Finn aka Da Bug's lengthy adoption. As an LL member she has been instrumental in providing other LL members with inspiration to give other homeless rabbits well deserved homes. She lives in Ohio with her son and is the caretake of many wonderful foster rabbits. Who wants to adopt a rabbit? any takers? Angie? You know Roo is calling you... Take me home... take me home... ((wink wink))

There are many LL members that are a source of inspiration to me, but I've never seen anyone so dedicated to helping bunnies and bring them to good homes like Theresa. Even though she was sick, she still felt committed to driving 10 hours to reunite Fiona with Emily and Bennett. She is one of the driving forces in bunny fostering/rescuing on the LL board and I hope that someday she will be able to have her own rescue because I know that her commitment will give so many needy buns such WONDERFUL homes. I know that I am a better person since I've met Theresa. I can't think of anyone better for member of the month this month than her...

What made Theresa's help with Fiona extra special to me was that she was involved with Finn as well. Theresa knows how hard life can be for a disabled rabbit to find a forever home. So she was able to help two rabbits make their way to loving homes. Not only was it a long drive, she was also sick but determined to be there for the buns' shining moment. Theresa, I have thanked you in my own way. But once again, let me say thank you for taking Fiona into your home to help bring her into my home, and for doing all that driving for the sake of a sweet bunny. You will always be Bennett and Fiona's matchmaker angel.

Theresa has become such an important part of the LL community. She has helped foster rabbits, even finding one (Coda) a home with Jessica at the LL gathering. Just this December she assisted with transporting DQ/Fiona down south so Emily, her husband Jon and their rabbit Bennett could have a new family member. Theresa has a huge space in her heart for rabbits, and that is why I think she is an excellent choice for Member of the Month!
