About the Member

Dayna has been a member of Lagomorph Lounge since Sept 12, 2003 - right from the beginning! She already achieved the rank of "Ultimate Flopper" with more than 500 posts. Dayna lives in New York with her two bunnies Sophie & Flash, and her cat Tori.

I have known Dayna for a long time. She has a big heart and a brave soul. Her bunnies are a testament to her love and devotion to her furry family. Flash is her 12 year old bunny that is still young at heart and Sophie is her sweet dutch mix that she rescued from a pet store. Not only does Dayna use her compassion for her animals, but also for her friends. Recently, LL board member, Angie received news that her husband was in the hospital and Dayna unselfishly rearranged her schedule to meet me at the airport, entertain me and give me the opportunity to support Angie in her time of need. That's what true friends do for each other. I am proud to say that Dayna is my friend and hope that someday I can help her as much as she has helped others. She truly deserves Member of the Month.

I've never had the opportunity to meet Dayna personally but I can see her influence in others who have met her. She is a caring person who rushes to the side of a friend in need, she is a truly terrific bunny momma, and is brave in the face of physical challenges. Flash's age goes to show she brings out the kid in everyone she meets. She is a wonderful part of this part and I am truly blessed to know her.

When Dayna first posted about Flash and took him, it made me swell with pride just to know someone so fantastic. The fact that LL has made it possible for me to meet so many truly wonderful people amazes me constantly. Dayna is an amazing woman, who truly loves her bunnies & cat. I am glad to have her as a member on LL and happy she was voted Member of the Month by her fellow LL members!
