We loved Lindor for so many reasons. She was cute, cuddly, and laid back. She only freaked out over the smell of propane. She was such a princess. She expected to be loved whenever possible, and if she felt neglected, she would let us know by digging and biting at our feet.
Lindor was happiest by the side of Mikaiko, and relied on him to help alert her of food sightings (she was deaf, and picked up on his reactions). She loved it when either my husband or I would go to bed before the other, leaving bunny bed time up to whomever stayed up. It made her feel like she got 'extra' playtime. When this happened, she would race around, and twitch all over the place.
Even princesses have bad days though, and in her agression, she would take it out on whatever was nearby, which frequently happened to be big Eeyore slippers.
Her ashes have been scattered in a field. I would like to think that Lindor is now enjoying her time racing around outside, without having allergic reactions, without struggling to move, and without pain.
My heart breaks with her loss.
