CUNT

Thought I'd mellowed, thought I'd gone yellow, well we're coming to get ya, yeah me and the hardcore crew, doin it newie stile mothefucker. Just when you thought it was safe, you were going for a quake strafe, like a gat in the back, like cracking an "Alin" fat. It aint over till the power spew comes, just when you thought you could taste the flav and you found out that busai was your fave. Fuck that was poor I guess thats what happens at 9:00 in the morning and your half asleep and you've got no lyrical talent.

Thats it I'm all ****ered out. Go see Operation Lager and The I Love Busai Show at the Palais Royal on Saturday night! A little youth show going on there some other good bands playing so check it out. Entry is free if your sleeping with a staff member : - o. More information will be coming later today so check it out. Check these out Greg's Kid,Lager billboard,Lager manager, I did those shitty pics for no particular reason except the fact that I know there are thousands of little girls who dig Lager and must constantly keep their addiction fed. I saw a girl out on the weekend and she said "I just need a taste, just a lick come on, JUST NEED A TASTE!" ( Greg agreed mind you ;) ). This post went no where!

Monday September 24
Well well well it has been some time since I have done a news update. You have been crying about it? Well kiss my Cabreata. Anyway down to the real issue(s) Operation Lager and the I Love Bucey Show. They did a couple of demos during the break that will make you loose all bladder control. Very impressive! Even if Greg decided to hold a conversation half way threw one of Horatio's trumpet solos in "A Night At the Lonely B".

They have come back from their short but much needed break firing. On Friday night they assaulted The Lucky Country Hotel with some frofcore madness. People were reported to be in dancing fits as Lager's infectious sounds made people loose control. Thanks to Strength to Strength and Schlauncher for playing great sets. Some videoing was done that night but I was informed they got one eyed midgets with stubbs to do it so don't expect to much.

Already frofing at the mouth with all this Lager excitement? Well get ready you'll need a bib and a bucket by the end. The Lager train continued on to SkaVille and SkaTrek 2 on Saturday night at the Cainbridge. There was hamperage with Alan 'FAT' Whitehead's bass drum biting the dust prior to the gig but the boys ROCKED/SOLIDERED on! They delivered a Cabreata'esc set with a certain "cam man" feeling the pound of such Lager greats as Firedance, Daschwimma* and A Tragic Tail. Thanks to Mad Dash, Riot City, Rubix Cuba, Deny + others (sorry if I didn't remember you, I'm just the drum tech).

Dehydrated yet? Total lose of bodily fluids? Well get a beverage cause you going to loose some more. Sunday bought the Lager train on a non stop service to Mingara and the final of the Central Coast Band Competition. Lager put on a more than impressive show, great music accompanied by shenanigans what more could you ask for? Steve donned the full superman outfit complete with tackle shaping underpants complemented by others wearing humorous 80's flap hats and masks. Johnny Weatherhead, Daschwimma* and A Night At the Lonely B were again high lights, complete with the longest conga line run in history! Measurement experts on hand using sophisticated equipment estimate the distance to be around 100 metres. Lager did achieve equal 3rd with Evantade, 2nd was Metallica (The Excentrics) and 1st was "collectively" Go to Bed Jessica. Quickly, quickly put down your beverage and give prayer of thanks to the standard rock gods for yet another fine day for rock!! Praise the lord, holylooyaa.

Special thanks to Amoeba for thier support, some footage taken may be available later rather than sooner on something.

In other news away from demos and shows, Lager have been in the studio for a couple of days this week, strutting their stuff. I have been informed threw my music industry guru sources that the EP will require sedative drugs and an ambulance on hand as a requirement before opening the cd.

* - My spelling is up shit creek.

Hello Lager fans! All across the nation people sing and chant with glee and excitment. Why you ask, well its all because Greg "I'm going to leave the hot cell and not take any money for the pizza I just delivered" Redfern got his gear off. Yes thats right Greg got it all off on Wednesday night during the Bundy Band Comp. Tackle was flying everywhere and right before you though it was over he decided to take a piss in the corner behind a TV. Ah yes it was all happening. In more serious news Operation Lager did make it through to the quarter finals. Greg the random pisser and Operation Lager would like to thank "Extortion" for lending him their bass. Congratulations to other bands for competing I guess Lager was just to "FAT" to handle. Also stolen straight from The pissing bandits page is that Operation Lager should get word soon about some gigs in Sydney or Central Coast. Also the local council applied for a money grant on Monday so we can put on an outdoor concert in June/July, all of Greg's tackle crossed. We hope it happens.

Well finally the page is getting updated, by me, Greg(Bass(Not the fish). Next week we go into the recording studio to start recording our debut e.p(Ok I've said that twice before but they were just demos and it sounded good at the time). The only problem is we don't know if we will ever get anything to sound better than our first demo "Slightly inebriated" hahahahaha. We won't be playing for a few weeks so when we come back I expect everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY to be there.

Now I'll just recap the last month, we played with Area 7 on the 2nd. That was pretty darn good, except we got cut short in our set and Area 7 and Skulker were complete snobs, but I guess when your hollywood celebrities like them you don't have time for bums like us. On the 21st we played two gigs: one at Raymond Terrace with legends Nubrium(thanks for putting us on the gig) and then at the Hunter with Powder Keg(You guys rock!), draw the line, kila krankie and Melack. It was good to see all our friends turned up(ahem) and that everybody at the hunter left as soon as we got up, oh well.
Saturday June 24th 6:54PM
