Ms. Chamble founded Lagender inc. in the year 2000  while she was pursing her career in peer counseling at the Infectious Disease  Clinic  of Grady Memorial Hospital Health Systems. Upon the realization that education on transderism was at an all time low she went about educating the health care providers  of this clinic on transgendered individuals  and hoe to care more respectively for this population of creative individuals. She did this through inservice workshops for all personnel. Ms Chamblees persoal mission : To educate and inform  Healthcare Providers,Business,Academic, and community based organizations with regardss to increased awareness of transgenderd issues.   Through her educational efforts she has provided expertise amd information to several High Profile Academic institutions such as Emory university,Georgia State University ,Clark atlanta, ITC interdenominational Theology Instittute.  Ms Chamblee has also entended her experise to the health facilities  in Atlanta  who deal with transgenders who are Hiv positive such as fulton County Health Dept, , Saint joseph Hospital (mercy Mobile), Grady memorial Hospital.   As a Native Atlantan Ms. Chamblee has found it very important to address certain issues concerning transgenders with the CBOs such as Aid Atlanta , Atlanta Interfaith Aids Netwoek, (common ground), Task force for the homeless, Aniz inc., Hiv Housing task force.  Ms Chamblee is consistently sought after by media outlets suchas wsb-tv (abc) ,wgnx-tv (cbs) , wxia-tv(nbc) this also includes print media but noyt limited to The Atlanta Journal constitution ,The Associated Press, and The Southern Voice. As a servant of the community she is actively invovlved in the boards of organization such as Transaction, The Phoenix Group, ARCA  (aids research consortium of atlaanta). During her spare time she was intragal in planning Transgender Day of  Remembrance and the after dinner reception for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) of which Janet Reno was keynote Speaker.
