.11.09.07. My life... has never been simple, I think everyone knows that. But I try to be strong, and I try to keep going. So I'm separated from my husband, but I have an INCREDIBLE son to show for it. He's adorable, brilliant and funny, and he's not even two yet. Anyway, so obviously I haven't had time to make any updates, and I probably won't in the near future, but I just can't bring myself to take the site down. I'm holding on to hope that one day... it will be perfect. As for what's going on currently... I'm in NanoWrimo this year and going strong. Wish me luck.
.08.24.05. Okay, okay I know... the page has remained the same since I redid it. I've been busy! Like really insanely crazy and stuff. Though if you visit the Evil Overlord's Career Guide, you'll notice that I tracked down who made it and put the information at the bottom of the page... so um... THERE! Alright, so the marriage date has moved up to 9.1.05 mainly because I'm having a baby in February. We're going to be moving, going through the holidays while working, and still doing other projects... Though I will eventually have something new to add soon. A web comic called "Vladamyr, the Master of the Universe". It will be quite funny, I'm working on it w/ Nikki. But that too will take some time. So yeah... just keep checking!

I would like you to meet Maurice. He's the majo domo of this site, and well something of the bouncer as well. He's not very sociable, but he's really good at standing there all day.
So why Penguins you ask? You can ask... don't worry... Because they're cute, funny miraculous little birds. They can fly through water but can't swim through the air. They wear a tux for all occassions, NEVER casual, making them the perfect little hosts! Besides, I find them amusing, they're short and clumsy, kinda like me!!
You can go on to all the joke pages any time you feel like it. Just click on the words "Maurice Says..." down below and it will take you to the different pages. But from here on out, there's going to be a few tidbits that you may or may not have known about Penguins.
-Penguins are only found SOUTH of the equator. Okay except for 1 species that lives in Japan.
-Schools of Penguins stay at sea for weeks at a time. They sometimes look like pods of dolphins swimming and leaping out of the water.
-They only eat in the water. Penguins in captivity have to train themselves to eat on land.
-Penguins bite, rather hard. They're not very friendly birds and will attack if aggitated. They'll hit you on the shins with their hard, unbending wings and show little fear of humans.
-Did you know that the largest penguins can grow up to 4 1/2 feet tall. Can you imagine being almost face to face with a Penguin? The Emperor Penguin, native to South Africa, can grow to the whopping height of 4.5 ft and weigh in at 80 lbs.
-Something of a contrast... the smallest penguin, the Adelie, is only 1.5 ft and gets up to 35 lbs.
-Did you know there are also tropical penguins? The galapagos penguins live as far north as... well it says in the name doesn't it? The GALAPAGOS?
