After an extensive promo campaign throughout the hashing world, a total of 28 hashers turned up for our inaugural ski hash weekend from Montreal, Ottawa, and of course, the L.A.F.F.T.E.R. hash! The festivities began on Friday the 28th with a pre-lube at the Sunset INN Motel in Malone NY, which went on until the wee hours of the night. The next morning, the bleary-eyed crew awoke to blue skies, mild temperatures, and a fantastic ski experience on the slopes of TIT_S, with its 25 well-groomed trails. The run, set by Sheila, and assisted by his better half, Tito's Temptress, began at the Sunset Inn, and was a back and forth affair through deep snow up to our knees. The hare had set the tail in yellow coolaid which was invisible in the evening snow, and he kept calling ON-ON at every fork in the road, thereby losing himself, and the pack. The exhausted group somehow managed to make it to the beer stop at the Wagon Wheel Bar, where they were greeted by the bemused stares of the local inhabitants. After recharging on the amber nectar, it was ON-IN to the Sunset Inn, where the hares were roundly jeered for their miserable performance! Among the many newcomers in attendance, there were a number of namings, including STRANGER THAN THE NIGHT, who took great enjoyment in visiting DICK DASTARDLY in evening repose...Following the circle, where the hares were punished to the point of inebriation, the pack headed over to Villa Fiore restaurant in downtown Malone, for a great evening meal. A brief ski awards ceremony was held at the restaurant, where GMH LITTLE BIG MAN handed out prizes to the undeserving... Following dinner, most headed back to the Motel for one last kick at the beer can before retiring for the night. Once again, STRANGER THAN THE NIGHT was caught, in flagrante deleto, cavorting in bed with DICK DASTARDLY, by none other than NECRO BABE! Not to worry, all three will be punished at next year's ski hash !!!
