The central characters in order of appearance:
These are the main focus of the story.
*Denotes a character developed by C a Girl. All others are property of J.K. Rowling.
*Guenivere Beauvois LeFey (Gwen): Gwen is a mighty confused girl. She lives in 2 worlds and has no idea which is the dream and which the reality. Her mother Beorc is the only constant in either world. At college Gwen has some magical ability. She has three very close friends and is trying to graduate with two degrees, one in chemistry and one in theatre. At Hogwarts she is a 6th year Gryffindor student. Her wand is Yew, 9 inches, Unicorn hair. She is an excellent student, but has before now been rather unfocused. She has long ginger hair, a great smile and is short in stature, light brown eyes (tan), rimmed with dull orange.
Professor Minerva McGonagall: Head of Gryffindor House, also serves as Deputy Headmistress at Hogwarts. Tall with dark hair and usually wearing green robes. She is a strict disciplinarian with a severe attitude and teaches Transfiguration. She has a special connection to Gwen.
*Lucille: Gwen's cat. Lucille is a gorgeous black cat who adores her mistress and Harry Potter.
Harry Potter: Fans of the Rowling series know all about him and you probably wouldn't be reading if you didn't. In case you don't know Harry is a 5th year Gryffindor. He is an extremely brave, young wizard with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. He received that scar as a baby when he was attacked by Lord Voldemort. The scar is a reminder that while he defeated the dark lord, he will never truly be gone.
Hermione Granger: A smart 5th year Gryffindor. She is close with Harry and Ron, and likes to talk to Gwen.
*Christopher (Chris): At college Chris is Gwen's lunch time pal. At Hogwarts he is a 6th year Hufflepuff.
*Corwin Graves (Graves): At college Graves is Gwen's magical equal. He helps her spellcast and gives her good advice. At Hogwarts he is a 7th year Slytherin. Tall, thin, gaunt looking with dark blue eyes.
*Centaur: Who does not have a name in the story. Centaur's are famous for star-gazing and their immense wisdom. They don't often take the time to talk to people or whatever else they come across in the Forbidden Forest.
*Beorc LeFey: Gwen's mother. She has many secrets that she eventually shares with her daughter. I can't say more or I'll ruin the story. Beorc is taller than her daughter with dark black hair and dark brown eyes.
Draco Malfoy: Rat bastard extraordinare. A 5th year Slytherin who has some serious social issues. His father Lucius is a death eater.
The minor players:
Most of these only receive mention. They may play bigger parts later in the story. *Shrug*
Neville Longbottom: 5th year Gryffindor well known for his clumsy forgetfulness.
Crabbe: Crony of Malfoy. 5th year Slytherin. Practically interchangeable with Goyle.
Goyle: Crony of Malfoy. 5th year Slytherin. Practically interchangeable with Crabbe.
*Henry LeFey: He was/is Gwen's dad. In the college world he is alive and well. In the Hogwart's world he was once a Ravenclaw and died at the hands of death eaters after several years of inactivity. He was part fey.
*Uncle George: Henry's brother, a squib who dies of a heartattack
*Aunt Ann: married to uncle George, a witch, who moves to France when her husband dies
*Brother: Only exists in the college world as Gwen's brother.
*Sister: Only exists in the college world as Gwen's sister.
Weasley Twins: Fred and George, Ron's older brothers. Gryffindor students. They are well known for their mischief making and food nipping.
Ronald Weasley (Ron): Harry's best friend. Tall with red hair. Famously terrified of spiders.
Rubeus Hagrid: Gameskeeper, Keeper of the Keys, and Care of Magical Creatures teacher. Half giant. Well known and loved by Harry, Hermione and Ron.
Professor Severus Snape: Head of Slytherin House. Teaches Potions. Was once a deatheater, has turned over a new leaf.
Professor Albus Dumbledore: One of the greatest wizards of all time and Headmaster at Hogwarts.
*Gabrielle (Gabby, Gabs): At college Gabby is Gwen's comic relief. At Hogwarts she is a 5th year Ravenclaw.
Angelina Johnson: Chaser for Gryffindor's Quidditch team.
Katie Bell: Chaser for Gryffindor's Quidditch team.
Voldemort: Evil, power hungry, dark lord. Was once Tom Marvolo Riddle, a Slytherin. He is the creep that just won't die or rather the comeback kid.
Hedwig: Harry's snowy owl.
Filch: Caretaker at Hogwarts. Might be a Squib (incapable of magic though born from magic parents). Dislikes the students very much.
*Grandparents: In the Hogwart's world Gwen's grandparents (on her mother's side) were death eaters in Voldemort's inner circle. They died in Azkaban (wizard's prison).
*Great-Great Grandparents: In the Hogwart's world Gwen's great X2 grandfather (on her father's side) fell in love with a faerie. He cast a complicated spell so that they could be together and hence, Gwen has fey blood in her veins.
*Gemma: Gwen's great-great-grandmother from the faerie mound.
Madame Maxime: half-giantess headmistress of Beauxbatons Academy
*The brothers Trois: all friends with Dumbledore. Jerome Trois- the meekest and middlest brother Pierre Trois- the happiest, jolliest, biggest (in more than one way) brother Phillipe Trois- the youngest and most wild, heavy drinker, loves parties.
*Professor Anthony Smith: based on the real life Anthony Smith of Plattsburgh State University, mixed with the teaching methods of Professor Kim Hartshorn, also of the above mentioned university.
*Abigail Burns: timid, shy 2nd year Hufflepuff. Wails like a banshee (it's possible that she's part banshee of course, whether or not I'll play with this hasn't yet revealed itself)
*Rose McGill, Colby Morrison, Andrea Wilke, Ann Temple, Sean Williams: 2nd year Hufflepuffs.
*Mage (the Sage): a hermetic sort of seer. She is wise beyond her young years. She keeps to herself. Her hair: shiny auburn, her eyes: russet, skin: lightly tanned, nose: pert, mouth: tiny, she has small features and a minute frame.
*Jermiah Leandre: a business associate of Beorc LeFey, but other than that???
