Association of Criminal Sciences
1999-2001
Soon after the Criminal Justice program was started at the University, a couple of the students decided to begin an organization to promote the program. After meeting with the Criminal Justice professor and establishing the goals of the organization, the Association of Criminal Sciences was established.
From 1999 to the Spring semester of 2001 this was the Criminal Justice organization on our campus. The AOCS always tried to take part in community activites. While established, the AOCS was responsible for raising over 1500 cans of food one year for the canned food drive and they sponsored a foster kid one year for Christmas. Of course, there was the occasional party. Below are some pictures of when the AOCS was on campus. This will give you an idea of what the students were doing during the time of this organization.
