Codebreaking and WWII
Welcome to my page of codes and codebreaking of World War II

Anyway, the links to the left include four majior codes, and codebreaking attempts during the war.  (Click on the blue arrows)

Mrs Newmark -- Due to the limits of geocites, I couldn't annotate where I got he facts from. My sources are on the "Sources" Page. The Enigma page is messed up too.

"Magic" was the codename for American decipherings of the Japanese code. We deciphered their code early on -- saving us at several battles, firstly Midway.

Navaho codetalkers -- the American Code during WWII. This was the code deemed "undecipherable by the US marines!

Enigma -- the german code machine that was nearly impossible to figure out -- until it was captured!

Bletchley Park -- a codebreaking operation that took place in England.
