I will try to give you a complete
description of our wedding...*S*
Oh! did I mention that it was a double
ceromony?? Well, my brother got married at
the same time!!!!
The wedding took place on the deck
of my brother's pool. It was a western theme.
The deck goes all the way around the pool and
was decorated with lights, candles, ivy,
and flowers. There will also
be a fountain in the center of the pool. There were
ribbons and bows everywhere, even in the trees!!!
The dress? Oh, that. Well let me explain.
We wore western made shirts. All the
shirts had fringe or tassles around
the western yokes. The brides' shirts also
had tassles down the length of the sleeves. All
shirts were made of white satin. The grooms' shirts
had royal blue yokes and the brides' had a lighter
blue sequined yoke, collar, and cuffs. This, too,
was satin. We all wore black jeans,
hats, belts, and boots.
Let me also add the wedding party actually began
on Friday evening. We cooked a pig all night
on a pit. So this brings me to the food after the wedding.
We had smoked pork, baked beans, cole slaw,
potato salad, and of course cake and punch
(not the spiked kind) because of the kids who were there.
There was live music starting around 1 P.M. on the day
of the wedding. Oljesse and I sang a couple
of songs together ( I was hoping to get a sore throat at
the last minute)....*giggle*. The vows were spoken
at 5 P.M.
