There will always be dreams grander or humbler than your own, but there will never be a dream exactly like your own....for you are unique and wonderous than you know!
---> Linda Staten

The best means of differentiating the true from the untrue dream is by the degree of excitement experienced by the dreamer. If one dreams of powerful fantasy images that causes him/her to be excited or to feel anger or fear during the dream itself, this is a true dream. But if the images are insipid and arouse no strong feelings, the dream is not true. The reliability is thus the proportions to its level of excitement.

"Anyone can escape into sleep, we are all geniuses when we dream, the butcher's the poet's equal there."
-E. M. Cioran, The Tempation to Exist

"We all dream; we do not understand our dreams, yet we act as if nothing strange goes on in our sleep minds, strange at least by comparison with the logical, purposeful doings of our minds when we are awake."
-Erich Fromm, The Forgotten Language

One of the most adventurous things left us is to go to bed. For no one can lay a hand on our dreams."
