Hi, My name is Poncho, I am A 6year old chihuahua. I have lived with the same people all my life. As you can see when I was young my ear wouldn't stand up. So mom took popcicle sticks and other peices of wood and taped them to my ear till I learned how to hold it. I love to have my picture taken all the time If I think I am gonna get a biscuit I will sit like a rabbit on my hind legs. I also ride like that in the truck with dad, Someone has to help him drive.
Now my little buddy,Gidget she is only a year younger than me but I am the biggest She is 4# and
I am 15# .As you can tell I push her out of the dish and I get yelled at all the time about it. I want you to know tho gidget and I chase birds out of the yard all the time. Now we don't bother koko (the other pet in our house)But crows, mocking birds and ole pond birds don't dare stop in our yard as we will run them off. Gidget will even chase the airplanes, If it flies she will try to catch it.
We have our own beds in mom
and dads room.When they go to
bed we hurry to get there also so
we get covered for the night also.
Gidget don't like the cameras so we don't have any good pictures of her.
Let me tell ya I will help crack pecans if you will let me eat the ones I crack. If I hear them cracking pecans I can't wait to get on the porch with them. |

Hello, My name is Koko. I am a cockatoo, 2 1/2 Years old. I come to live with my family a year ago. I love them a bird bunch as they are good to me. I am still learning to talk but getting better all the time. Now I say Koko is a good bird, I call Poncho the dog all the time and say he is a good bird even tho he is a dog, Sometimes I will say he is a good dog and I can say whatcha doin, I know it isn't good english but mom says it all the time. I also whistle when I want to but not often. I do give kisses, Now down south we call it sugar. So if you want a kiss you better tell me to give you sugar. Another thing I like to do is lay my head on my mom and tell her ohhh. When I want to get out of the cage or need feed I will scream louder than any kid thought about screaming. My family will get upset and throw a sheet over me to make me shut-up. If the weather is nice and the family is home on week ends they put me on the porch and let me out of the cage. I have tried to fly but they clip my wings and I don't get to far and here they come and carry me back to the cage. For the food I eat now. I love sunflower seeds the best, I eat things like cabbage, celry, peppers,grapes, oranges and a bunch of other seeds. Also I do ride to town with the family and get in moms jacket so I can go in the stores with her. Some people are afraid of me but I don't hurt anyone. I will live to be 60 years old. So if I out live my family I just hope I get another nice family to look after me. |

Well since I done this page, I lost my husband and my pets grieved so bad I found new homes for them.The dogs went with a young lady that has asthma. The story is chihuahua's help it. Koko went to a nice home that has some of her feathered friends in it also and is loving that. I do miss them but wanted them happy. |
