| All of us on the fourth floor of Wolfson House have been whining that we all have nice pictures of landmarks and landscapes, but very few of US in them. So to rectify that (and try out my new digital camera), Connie and I ran around London on January 10th taking pictures of each other with each other's cameras. The following is the results of four hours worth of picture taking (and about 45 minutes on the Tube). Some of the results were fairly amusing. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Funny story about these Abbey Road pictures. #1: There are, at all times, at least half a dozen other Beatles fans standing around taking the same picture. #2: As a tribute to Paul, I took my shoes off. It's January. All the other tourists proceeded to laugh at me as I whined about how cold it was. #3: You have to dodge cars as you walk very quickly across the street. #4: Connie was still trying to figure out how to work the digital camera. #5: As I was putting my shoes back on, a photographer approached Connie and me. He said he was doing an article on London's rock landmarks and he wanted four tourists to pose on the walkway for his signature photo. So me, Connie, and two British kids are apparently going to be in a newspaper in Helsinki on Saturday (January 12). We thought that was pretty hilarious. That photographer is supposed to email me the picture. I'll sneak it up here when he does. |

| Trafalgar Square: I made fun of Connie for being terrified of the pigeons. She made fun of me for playing monkey and climbing all over the lions. Too bad I was a little too short to climb on their backs. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Big Ben doesn't really need an introduction, but I'm afraid those goofy expressions on my face do merit an apology. I'm sorry. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Connie grabbed a burger from a street vendor on Westminster Bridge and put it down for a minute to snap these pictures of me and the London Eye. I'm surprised these came out as well as they did, because Connie had to keep kicking the pigeons, who were flocking in swarms around her burger. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
