Yule Love Spell for Passion

On the Eve of Yule or Yule, perform this spell with your spouse or significant other. 

As the light begins to return at this time of the year, so can the light in your relationship. Use this spell to help renew or strengthen the passion and love between the two of you which can be neglected from time to time due to everyday chores and work.  

Plan to spend the evening together.  If you have children, get a babysitter for the night, (Hello Grandma).  Do not feel guilty.  If you have to work the following day, try to take off, so nothing will distract you.

Beforehand, prepare a romantic dinner (preferably together).  Take one very big red candle for love and passion, bless it and place it on the table close to where you will be sitting, ideally in the center of the two of you.   Put a picture of you and your spouse underneath it.  Use a picture that both of you look happy in.  Place mistletoe around the candle to ensure that your love will stay strong in the upcoming year.

The table should already be set for a romantic dinner.  Light the candle and then take turns telling each other how you would like this spell to manifest in the New Year.  For example, I would like the passion in our relationship to grow stronger with this candle, or I would like our love to stay strong.  You get the idea. 

After your wishes have been expressed, share a romantic drink together, e.g. some red wine.  Then have dinner and enjoy the rest of the evening.   Leave those dishes! Have fun instead.  Maybe share a new experience together.

When the evening has come to an end, put the candle out  (do not blow it out) and save the candle, mistletoe and picture some place romantic, such as your lingerie drawer. 

If life gets hectic during the upcoming year, take the candle out and light it again to renew the magic of the evening you shared. 

Perform this spell annually to strengthen love and passion.

Warning:

As with any love spell, you must be careful when using this one together.  This spell was written to celebrate the union between two people who love each other.  I do not recommend using it for a one night stand.  While casting it, absolutely do not say anything negative or critical to your partner.  Otherwise, you may cast a shadow of darkness over your relationship that will last for a long time, maybe forever.  On this night, only focus on the positive qualities in each other.  Also, if your relationship is shakey, use another spell or refrain from using magick altogether.  In the tragic event, you do break up, make sure you take that candle out of your drawer and burn it all the way down until it won't burn anymore.  Then take any remains and discard them immediately.  This will aid in ending the physical attraction you may still have for each other and help both of you move on.
