Pendant Blessing Ritual

You will need five candles: one white to represent deity/spirit, one red to represent fire, one brown to represent Earth, one yellow to represent air, and one blue to represent water. Inscribe on each candle what they symbolize. Also have ready incense for each element as an offering and consecrated salt (Holy water may possibly harm some materials in jewelry). Place the candles in the shape of a pentagram on your altar. Sprinkle the salt on your pendant to rid it of any previous energy. Then place the chain and pendant in a circle around the candles to complete the pentagram.
To begin, light the white candle first and say:
Great Goddess, Mother of us all,
please bless this pendant with your love
so when I wear it,
I will carry your love with me and inside it always.
Great God, Father of us all,
please bless this pendant with your strength
so when I wear it
I will carry your protection around me and inside it always.
Then light the incense you have chosen as an offering and say:
Lord and Lady, thank you for your blessings on this night.
When these candles burn out, may we part physically,
but may your blessings remain inside my heart and this pendant always.
Then turn to the East and light your Air Candle. Speak the following aloud:
Guardians of Air
please bless this pendant with your power,
May you blow away doubt and fear
when I wear it close to my heart.
Light the incense you have chosen as an offering and say:
Thank you Air
for your blessings on this night.
When these candles burn out,
may you go in peace
but may your blessings
remain inside this pendant always.
Then turn to the South and light your Fire Candle. Speak the following aloud:
Guardians of Fire
please bless this pendant with your light,
so when I wear it,
it will guide me through times of darkness in my life.
Light the incense you have chosen as an offering and say:
Thank you Fire
for your blessings on this night.
When these candles burn out,
may you go in peace
but may your blessings
remain inside this pendant always.
Then turn to the West and Light your water candle. Speak the following aloud:
Guardians of Water
please bless this pendant with your power
so it can wash away negativity in my life
when I wear it close to my heart.
Light the incense you have chosen as an offering and say:
Thank you Water
for your blessings on this night.
When these candles burn out,
may you go in peace
but may your blessings
remain inside this pendant always.
Then turn to the North and light your Earth Candle. Speak the following aloud:
Guardians of Earth
please bless this pendant with your power
may it provide me with stability and healing
when I wear it close to my heart.
Light the incense you have chosen as an offering and say:
Thank you Earth
for your blessings on this night.
When these candles burn out,
may you go in peace
but may your blessings
remain inside this pendant always.
So mote it be.
Let the candles burn out on their own.
I recommend wearing your pendant underneath your clothes close to your heart. I also recommend that no one else touches it. That way their energy will not rub off on it. If this happens, I would perform this ritual again.
If you are unable to perform an elaborate ritual, touch your pendant to a pentagram to receive its blessings.
