This spell will help someone let go of problems that affect their lives, whether they be past issues or current ones, and move on with a clearer, brighter future ahead.  This can also be used to help rid yourself of negative qualities and enhance positive ones.

You will need two jars.  One will be buried outside, so I recommend using material that will decay for it, e.g. a paper bag.  The other one can be made out of anything you want.  Also, have ready black and white ribbons (cloth, string, anything that ties), banishing herbs, healing/protection herbs and paper.

On tiny pieces of paper, write down all your problems (childhold issues, a broken heart, whatever holds you back in your life).  Again, this could be things about yourself that you would like to banish like a bad temper, etc.  Roll these pieces of paper up tightly and place them in your jar (bag).  Fill the bag with banishing herbs, seal it and tie it with black ribbon.  As always, make sure you really want to get rid of these memories or qualities before placing them in your jar.  Be specific.  While doing this, focus on riding yourself of these obstacles forever.

Then, write on pieces of paper all the good things in your life, about yourself, or that you are looking forward to in your future, (depending on what you are using this spell for), and place them in the jar.  Fill the jar with healing/protection herbs and sweet smelling scents that make you feel positive and happy.  Put more time into making this jar because it will remain in your room or some place close by.  Seal it and tie a white ribbon around the top.  You can decorate it with lace, felt, or anything to make it more attractive.  While doing this, focus on welcoming positivity into your life.

When you are done, bury the negative jar outside when the Moon is ending its Waning phase and entering its Waxing phase, or when the night is ending and the day is beginning, or even when Winter is ending and Spring is beginning.  Take the positive jar and place it in your room or some place where you can easily get to it.

Whenever you feel the past is calling to you, open the positive jar.  Take out one of the pieces of paper and focus on the blessings in your life or dreams you are seeking.

This can be done to help someone else as long as it is done with their consent.  You will need their help in filling these jars, and he/she will have to keep the jar with them.
