Magick Snow Globe

This snow globe should be created when it is snowing in order to add Winter's Magick to your craft.

Make a snow globe as you normally would.  Prepare a small jar by soaking it and scraping off the label.  I recommend making sure the jar doesn't leak before proceeding.  Fill it up with water, tighten the lid on it, turn it upside down and see if it leaks.  If it doesn't, pour out the water and set it aside to dry.

Find a tiny plastic ornament you like from your Yule tree or a dollar store.  Using water proof glue, glue your ornament to the dry lid of the glass jar.  Again, set it aside and let it dry.

Collect fresh snow from outside in your cauldron or a kitchen pot.  Collect enough, so when it melts, it will still fill up your snow globe.

Once the snow has melted and your ornament has dried, fill up the jar about 95 percent of the way.  You can either use white glitter or crushed eggshells from hard boiled eggs for the falling snow effect.  Some people then add a couple of drops of blue food coloring.

Screw the lid on when you are done.  Turn it upside down and make sure everything looks right.  Then seal the lid with your waterproof glue to prevent any leaking in the future.

To hide the glue, wrap garland or fabric around the lid.  Decorate it any way you want.

Use your snow globe during the Winter to wish for snow.  Just shake it and make your wish.

This will add a touch of magick to a great holiday gift.
