This ritual can be used to charge anything (water, amulets, tools, etc.).  Perform it on a clear night when the Moon is Full.

Choose a smooth surface outside.  I use a huge rock in my backyard that has always been there.  It's flat top serves as a great table. Use whatever is available to you.  

  I like to inscribe a pentagram on the rock, but this isn't necessary.  Place the object inside the pentagram or on the flat surface directly.

With your hands on the object, look up at the Moon and recite the following:

Great Goddess, Mother Moon,

Please cleanse this (thing) tonight

and charge it with the power

of your guiding light.

Leave the object there overnight where the Full Moon's light will shine on it. 

Bring it in the next day before the sun rises.  Thank the Moon for her blessings before you do.
