I Am the Earth

by Lady of the Shadows

I am the Eagle
who soars in the sky.

I am the crickets
who sing lullabies.

I am the rainbow
which brings you a smile.

I am the rivers
which flow on for miles.

I am the flowers
for lovers to share.

I am the deer,
the rabbit and bear.

I am a spider,
a cobweb I spin.

I am the ocean
where many fish swim.

I am the cow
bringing you milk.

I am the silkworm
making your silk.

I am a tree
standing so tall.

I am the clouds
where raindrops fall.

I am the snake
who slithers around.

I am the worm
toiling the ground.

I am a mountain
on which you can stand.

I am the valleys,
the forests and land.

I am a farm
where crops are grown.

I am the Earth.
Home, sweet home.
