In Loving Memory of Dana

This page is dedicated to my friend, an assistant manager at Shadows at Night and a beautiful person, who will be missed forever.

Sometimes

by Lady of the Shadows

Sometimes, the morning sun shines brightly enough, like a smile from the heart, it thaws frozen ice and melts mounds of snow higher than cars on the ground.

Sometimes, a flower dances in the wind so gracefully with swaying tree brances and rustling leaves, even a ballerina watches awe-struck and envious.

Sometimes, twinkling stars and a full moon light the way as well as the sun through the darkness which falls over the land each night.

Sometimes, the song of a bird, a robin perhaps, perched on a crackling tree branch overhead fills a day with music and celebration when lyrics are forgotten.

Sometimes, a much needed rain shower drenches parched soil and quenches nature's thirst like a cup of water handed down from the heavens above.

Sometimes, a rainbow paints the sky as if an artist guides the brush himself and leaves the clouds in colors of purples and reds.

Sometimes, one person touches so many lives, like nature's most wonderous miracles, that she surrounds us with love and laughter...

even after she is gone.
