Rue Silver

Rue is a name I used for two different characters. One was a young vampire caught up in the heat of battle and forced to choose the side of darkness because of what she was, and the other was a free lancing, smooth talking pirate woman. Both characters are very dear to my heart.

Name: Rue Silver (pirate)

Age: 25

Appearance: long brown hair and hazel eyes that are as sharp as a hawks. She dresses in normal, practical, seaworthy clothes.

History: Rue was orphaned when her parents died. Left alone in the world with no one but her older brother, Calico Silver who was doing his best to look after her, the two snuck onto a pirate ship. The captain of the ship (called the Black Lightning) took them under his wing and raised them as his own. Rue grew up with a few close friends, a boy named Jack and a girl named Seapar. When she was older, she was dubbed 'lil Red' because of her temper, her abilities with throwing knives and her way with men. (Calico was named 'big Red' becuase of his temper and way with women) Soon, the captain of the Black Lightning passed away, leaving the ship to Calico. Rue was so upset with the mans death that she ran away and stole an old friends ship, which was the Black Pearl, with the aid of her old friend Seapar (who had a thing for Calico.) Together, they decided that the crew controling the ship wasn't very loyal, so they went ashore to fetch a new crew. In the pub, Rue gained the assistance a new crew, as well as meeting "ol' Jack." To her surprise, Jack wasn't mad, he just wanted to know if the ship was slright and if Rue would allow him to work on the Pearl. (He quite fancied Rue, after all) Rue also met up with Jack's friend, William, who she fell in love with. Yadda Yadda. Jack heart broken, Rue feels bad, gives him ship and her heart after dumping Will when Beth came back into his life. Happily Ever After.. Until Calico falls overboard and dies, leaving Rue his ship, and a few broken hearts.

Appearance: Cloaked in blakc, with red eyes and black hair. Her eyes are soulful and thoughtful, with the pain of her past.

History: Rue was made into a vampire at a young age, so she still appears youthful, but she has seen her mother killed by a vampire in front of her own eyes, so she refuses to feed. Drinking blood also maikes her go insane for periods of time. (depending on the ammount of blood consumed) Rue chose the side of evil during the war, due to her afflictions. She wasn't every really loyal to the lord of destruction. Instead, she would go to the arena and watch people spar. Once, she even watched a young warrior who inspired her to become a good guy, something that her lord would never allow. So Rue loved as a good trapped in a baddie's body, slowly falling in love with her warrior and becoming close friends with his allies. Eventually, all the good guys were banished to the heavens, where only neutrals could go. In order to see her beloved warrior again, she attempted to become neutral and was punished by both neutrals and those loyal to the evil lord. Rue was forbidden from ever seeing her lover and friends again. Therefore, she did the only thing she could. By stabbing herself through the heart, she was freed from the mortal world.
