The liquid so thick, so sour and so rich.
Symbol I hold to my victor a plume
Immense power I longed to reach
To enemies I give the verdict of doom

The place was dark, the air was musty
A vision so hazy I could not see

A body so mangled, drenched in a sea
Of the liquid, I cherish in my palm
My conscience was set for it to be
Loud and clear, the voices in my psalm

A soul was screaming, a lost entity
But the site was dingy, I could not see

Sacrifice thy life for a life to spare
A life of hunger, spark for a kindred
On a bounty of entrails thy bare
My heart’s delight, my sight feasted no end.

A nymph was calling, pleading to me
Darkness was swelling, still I don’t see

The savaged enemy gave out a plea
Thy languid power, vanquished and blown
But my heart of ice cried no mercy
On thy soul the elegy was drawn

Darkness gone retreat, my heart filled with apathy
It was right before me but still I don’t see.

The liquid so thick, so sour and so rich
on a face of beauty, on a face of pain
her body so tender, her body so wretched
on a pedestal captured in a portrait of death

A multitude of agony for life I wear
for the picture I created, I could not bear

my eyes were opened, the light on thee
My dear Keiko, now I see
