It�s gonna be on Griffin and Annee. What I haven�t decided yet is where and when it�s going to start. I was thinking of making the first book only about Griffin maybe and then bring Annee in in the second book. But, now I have the characters established and a little bit of their world established, I need a premise.
I was thinking of keeping with the original story and having Griffin and Annee�s worlds join together. And an evil corrupt female who tries to take over. Maybe Griffin�s mom who was once good and got changed by power. And the rift allows her some new power. Like instead of conquering and ruling one world, she now rules 2.
Oh, and there has to be this whole secret superpower thing. Like, people go after them and are surprised when they�re not normal, when they�re not what they appear to be. Buffy=slayer, Willow=witch, Harry Potter=wizard/lucky�.Luck. Have Griffin be really lucky.
Maybe I should switch Griffin and Annee�because if I make Annee book smart, then she�ll be too much like Hermione and Griffin will be too much like Harry. Also, we shall make Annee�s mother evil. But, I�m worried there isn�t enough of an audience for a girl story. I think a boy story has much more power and interest (sexist though it may sound). Although with Annee being the power one, it�ll be more like Buffy. Girl power. And it�ll be double secret super powers because she�s a girl, too!
I�m also not creating some sport in my head like Quidditch. I�m torn on whether or not they�ll go to school�but that�ll help reinforce the �normalcy� of the characters. See, I have to make it different enough from Buffy and Harry Potter that they�re original, but close enough that they appeal to everyone.
And just wanted to add that my story has now started to take on a life of its own. I'll try to update this page with more info once my notes get in some semblance of order.
Although, I'm deciding not to update this page because I'm going to publish this one.
