World War II
This one takes place obviously during WWII. We got ourselves a Mister American who joins himself up with an ultra-elite military team around 1938 and heads to Germany.

While in Germany, he falls in love with a girl who happens to be Jewish (not religiously, just hereditarily). They are married and don't live at all happily ever after because of all the persecution going on. Something happens, maybe a raid, maybe she gets kidnapped by the Nazis, but they get separated.

He eventually joins up with the Allied forces, always looking for her, but not really holding out hope. Meanwhile, she is living in the wild, living in ghettos, and all sorts of other Juden nightmares are happening to her. Oh, and she's pregnant/has his son. She realizes that her son can probably get away if she can just save him. She teaches him all about his father, gives him the picture of his father and how to attempt to get in contact with him once it's safe to do so, and leaves him with the nuns.

The poor girl of course shortly gets taken away to a concentration camp and lives out the rest of her time there. The war ends and our hero is called to a location for a pickup. He gets there and is shocked to discover his pickup is actually his son who doesn't speak a word of English.

Luckily, or rather planned by me, Mr. Hero speaks perfect German because of his ultra-elite secret society enrollment thing. He also finds her name on a list of the dead from a concentration camp. He decides to take his son home, giving up hope of finding her since she's dead and his stint in the army is up since he met all the requirements for release.

Our poor not!Jewish girl (I think I like the name Rebecca or Rachel) actually survived the concentration camp. See, she was lined up with a bunch of other people in front of a giant trench and they were all shot, except hers wasn't deadly. And she expected to be buried alive by either dirt or bodies, but she wasn't 'cause I'm writing this and so her life is spared.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Mr. Hero has taken his son (Zachariah, I think) back to his farm somewhere in the midwest where his parents live. Z-man is traumatized and has nightmares and doesn't speak any English so it causes more problems for the boy. But, our hero prevails and tries to be the bestest daddy ever!

Rebechel is looking for her son and is told by the nuns that he has left for America with his father. This overjoys her because she knows that not only is her son well and alive, her husband also survived the war. Now, all she has to do is meet up with them and all will be well, right? Rachecca now makes her way to the Americans or something and pleads refuge. Of course they don't want any more foreigners coming in to America so they're not gonna let her go there. But, don't forget! Mr. Hero married her, so she is technically not a foreigner.

Somehow or another, she knows where Mr. Hero lives. I haven't decided whether or not it's because he told her or she gets the info from the US government or some other thing. So, she makes her way to the old farm to join with her husband and son.

Rabecha shows up, shocking everyone in town with her shorn hair (concentration camp lice), tattooed arm, skin-and-bones figure, and shabby clothes. Mr. Hero doesn't care because she's alive.

How does this story end? I think I'm gonna have to say that the rest of the town is not very nice to her and Z., especially when a murder happens and they blame Rechacca and/or the Z-meister because of their odd, peculiar ways. Mr. Hero has to clean up all the messes and finally I suppose they can live (mostly) happily ever after.
