"Mom, can I play on the computer now, my homework is done and I really want to, please?!?" the young girl asked her mother.

"O.k dear, I guess you can since you have everything done. I am going to the store, I will be back later."

"ok mom, yes!!" she said smiling. She walked over to the computer and sat in the wooden chair. She clicked the mouse and got the screen saver off the computer. Then she clicked on Pong 95' played against the computer, the game was getting exciting and the score stayed 0-0. I'm on a role she thought as she blocked a top right corner shot. Then the ping pong ball went even faster then it had started, hey what's going on, its never done this before, this game cheats. She started blocking like crazy, watching the ball bounce back and forth across the screen. I am soo going to win this game! Suddenly the computer started to spark at the keys but the girl didn't notice. (Games do that to you ya know) Then smoke started to come up from the back. Ping, ping, ping computer point, "shoot" she said hitting the computer....

Boom!!

"Ohh, where am I?" the girl said putting her hand to her head. She stood up and looked around. Everything was computerized. She looked at her hands and they were computerized too. What's going on, am I in the computer? She turned around in circles and saw a lot of buildings and saw little 3 cubed things with legs and what looked to be little bowling balls too, only they have 2 eyes and the cubes have one. Then she saw a place called Dot's Diner. Maybe I can find some help there, I know they know what this place is. So she walked up to the black and white diner and pushed on the glass door.

Once she walked in everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up. They all stared at the strange girl and some bionomes even fell off the bar stools and ran out the double doors.

Everyone watched the girl as she walked over to a bionome and asked him where she was. The bionome opened his mouth but nothing came out, he was too scared to talk and fainted right there on the spot.

"Umm, ok" she said looking up at everyone else. She walked over to a women sitting in a booth typing on her lap top. She had green skin, dark green hair and red lips.

"Excuse me" the girl said, "I am lost, could you tell me where I am."

The women looked up from her computer screen and said, "You are in System Mainframe, my name is Dot and I am in charge here, who are you?"

"My name is Sam and I come form the space outside the computer," she said, smiling.

Everyone gasped.

"Ha ha, very funny," Dot said, laughing.

"No, I'm serious" Sam said.

Dot's eyes widened and her mouth dropped. She quickly typed in something on the computer and then she started talking to it. "Bob, you better come to the Diner quick, we are in desperate need of your assistance! Bob are you listening?"

Bob was on the other line all right but he had his earphones on again and didn't notice the call.

"DO DO DO LA LA, HUH OUAH!" he yelled out of tune.

Dot covered her ears and yelled, "BOB!!"

Bob pulled his earphones off and stared at the vid-window. "What?" he asked, turning the knob down on the portable CD player.

"Get down here now, I need you!!" Dot closed her computer and closed her mouth.

"I am not here to hurt anyone if that's what you are thinking," Sam said, running her hand through her short brown hair. "I was zapped here some how by accident I guess. You see, I was playing a game on the computer and the computer blew up and when I opened my eyes, I was here in.... what do you call it?"

"Mainframe," Dot said, folding her arms.

Just then a kind of tall, blue guy with shimmering silver hair walked over to where the two girls where standing.

"Hello," Bob said, kissing Dot on the cheek. He turned towards Sam and took her hand and kissed it. "Hello," he said, smiling.

Sam sighed, what a hunk. So what if he is blue, he is soo cute.

"Go on ahead and tell Bob what you told me," Dot said.

"Ok," Sam said, "I come from outside the computer..."

"It's true Bob." Dot said. "She has no record on file of any system, I checked."

Then Bob started to spit. "What is your problem?" Dot asked.

"I kissed a User!" Bob yelled. He grabbed an energy shake, gargled it, then he spit it out all over Cecil the waiter on accident.

"Charming, very charming," Cecil said "You have just weakened my constitution" Cecil said and then floated back into the kitchen and you could hear him scream, "GUARDIAN GERMS!!"

"All right User, prepare to be deleted" Bob said "Glitch, deletion ray!" Then he pointed it at Sam.

"This does not look good," Sam said and tightly closed her eyes waiting to feel a strong pain but instead, all she could feel was warmth.

"She is from another world, I guess she can't be deleted. This is bad, very bad" Bob said.

"Why?" Sam asked, "I told Dot that I won't hurt anyone, you treat me as if I am an alien or something. Users aren't that bad, some of them are, but I'm not one of them," Sam said putting, her hands on her hips. "But don't think I can't be mean either, I have a bad temper every once and a while."

"Dot has some of those too" Bob said laughing. Dot stepped on his foot. "OUch," he attempted to yell but was cut off by Sam and Dot talking about becoming good friends.

"Did I miss something Here?" Bob asked, "She is a User, she is bad, remember, she will nullify everyone!" Bob yelled. Everyone in the Diner gasped.

"Shhh!" Dot whispered, "We don't want anyone to here about that."

Sam turned to Bob and asked, "Why don't you trust me?"

"Me, trust a user? Think again." Then he stormed out of the dinner.

"Don't worry," Dot said, "I'm sure he will come along."

"I hope so," Sam sighed, "I really do."

Later on in the day, Sam was being tested by the bionomes in the hospital just to make sure she was safe to have around.

"I told you I can't and won't hurt anyone!" Sam yelled.

"At least try and shoot that can with your super powers," a bionome said.

"Oh yea, I'll blow up that computer while I am at it, I can't even kick a can from here," Sam smarted. "Am I done now??"

"OK everyone, that's enough testing for today, I think she is clean," Dot said as she unchained her feet. "This testing is nothing to worry about, we just want to make sure that you were telling the truth."

They both walked out of the testing room and into the control room of Mainframe where a short, metal, Chinese looking character was typing something on the computer and holding an icon.

"This will be yours, my child, when I am done loading up your data."

"That's why you scanned me with that ray," Sam said.

"Yes, that's why," the Chinese guy said. "My name is Phong, I help Dot run the system," he said.

"I'm Sam..." she said before Phong cut her off.

"Yes, child, I know," Phong said. Then he typed something on the computer and then these gold lights started to shoot into the icon. After the lights were gone, Phong picked up the icon and handed it to Sam.

"Where do I put it" Sam asked.

"I don't know, what about there?"

"Who said that?" Sam, asked looking around.

Sam and Dot turned around and Bob was standing in the doorway pointing to his forehead.

"Bob, if I put it there, how could I use it when I needed it?" Sam asked. "I would have to follow you around everywhere and we both know you wouldn't care to much about that, would you?"

Bob folded his arms and smiled while glaring. "Ha ha, you're soo funny," he said, shaking his head.

"I think I will put it right here," Sam said. "How does it stay on?"

"You have to weld it on" Bob said.

"WHAT!?" Sam yelled.

"Bob, stop goofing around and just pin it on for her," Phong said.

"But.. BUT..." Bob tried to say.

Phong stared at him in a funny way and motioned to Sam. Bob sighed and walked over. Sam handed Bob the icon and Bob asked, "Where?"

"Right here," Sam said, pointing to the middle of her her chest.

"Where?" Bob asked again.

"Here," She said and she took hold of his hands and pressed it on her chest. "Thank you," Sam said.

"Ahh, yea, sure," Bob said.

"Have you set up a house for me since I just moved here and I have no place to go?," Sam asked Dot.

"You can stay with me and Enzo until you get settled."

"Thank you soo much, I'm glad we're friends."

Bob folded his arms. She isn't such a big deal, I don't know what Dot sees in her.

"Well, here we are" Dot said opening the door to her house. Enzo was sitting on the living room floor playing with his action figures. "Thunder Browser is here to save the day!" Enzo said as he threw an action figure across the room.

"Who's that, Dot?" Enzo asked.

"This is the new sprite in town and her name is Sam," Dot said. "She will be staying with us until she finds a good

"Alphanumeric, ca'mon Sam I want to show you my room and all of my toys!" Enzo said, pulling Sam's arm down the hall.

They both walked into the room and Enzo told Sam to sit in the middle of the room. So Sam sat down and waited for the next instruction. She watched Enzo jump into a toy bin and start searching around and found all of his favorite toys. He got out of the toy bin and poured all his toys into Sam's lap. Sam held up each of the toys and Enzo identified them and told her their super powers.

"This is Skunk Man and he can shoot out smelly rays that suffocate the enemy and he really smells like a skunk, here smell." Enzo pushed the skunk up to Sam's nose. Sam started to cough and she quickly turned her head away.

"That's nice Enzo," Sam said, trying to breath.

"Whew, saved by the sister/friend."

When Dot was just about ready to go to bed, A vid-window popped up and it was her other brother, (V)atrix and his girlfriend AndrAIa.

"We just called to say good night to you guys and good luck against the rebel." AndrAIa said.

"Rebel?" Dot questioned.

"The user," (V)atrix said.

"You are comfortable with Sam, (V)atrix?" Dot asked.

"Since you trust her, I should too, you trusted Bob and he is my best friend, so I know things are ok," (V)atrix said.

"That's good, I'm glad you guys like her even though you haven't met her and thanks for saying good night, I'll tell the kids before they go to sleep," Dot said. "Good night."

"Love ya sis, g'night, bye." After that, the window was gone.

The next morning when Sam woke up, Enzo was already out of bed and dressed. "Wake up Sam, it's Saturday!" Enzo yelled, shaking her.

Sam lifted the covers off of her head and Enzo gasped. "What happened!?"

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"Here, look in this mirror," Enzo said handing it to her.

Dot walked into the room to come and wake up Sam. "What in the net?!" Dot asked.

"I have no idea" Sam said.

"We'll go to Phong about this later, there is a new user that has appeared in the area." Dot said running out the bedroom. Enzo ran out of the bedroom and Sam got dressed, then followed.

When they got out of the house Dot handed Sam thing that had two circles that looked like icons and a bar holding them together.

"What's this?" Sam asked Dot.

"It's a zipboard, you ride on it."

"Like a skateboard?" Sam asked.

"Uhh, yea, whatever that is."

Sam jumped onto the board and it floated off the ground. "HOLY S**T!" Sam yelled as she went higher and higher into the sky. This isn't soo hard, I can do this, no I can't, no I cannnn't!

"Ahhh!" she yelled as she fell off the board as luckily Bob was under her heading toward the same spot where Dot, Enzo and Sam were going.

"Hi," Bob said.

"Hi," Sam said back.

"Did you just move here?" Bob asked.

"Yesterday," Sam said.

"I usually meet all the new people that come to Mainframe," Bob said.

"You did," Sam said smiling.

"If I saw you yesterday, I would have remembered you," Bob said smiling, back.

"Oh, I'm sure you remember me and I quote 'I kissed a user spit, spit,'" she said, laughing.

"What?!" Bob ,said starting to drop her.

She held on tighter. "Don't let go, I'll fall!" she, said frightened.

"Sam, it really you?" Bob asked. Sam nodded. "But how?," he asked.

"I really don't know, but Dot said that Phong would tell me what's going on, but now, I want to see who the new user is!" Sam said excitedly.

"Let's go," Bob said. They both flew on the one zipboard Bob was on while he was carrying Sam.

When they made it to Dot's Diner, it was empty. The only person in the Diner was a young girl 'user' sitting in a booth looking around. You could here her saying "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god" under her breath. Right when Sam got to the Diner with Bob, she knew right away that person was her best friend Emily.

"EMILY!" Sam yelled. "Put me down, Bob."

"Ohh, sorry." Bob dropped his hands and Sam fell to the ground.

"Thanks," she smarted.

"Your welcome," Bob said, smiling.

Emily looked up and asked, "How do you know my name?"

"Emily, it's me, Sam, your friend!" Sam said.

"No it's not, Sam was younger. You look at least 20."

"You have to believe me!" Sam said.

"Wait, you know her?" Bob asked.

"I do, but I don't think she is so sure," Sam said, staring at Emily. "Ask me something only I would know," Sam said.

"Ok, umm, at lunch time, who do we always sit with?" She'll never know this.

"Besides me and you, Whit and Kelli. I thought it would be a hard question."

"Here we go again, Dot you take over from here. You explain it better then I do," Sam said.

So Dot explained to Emily everything that she had told Sam. After she finished explaining everything, they all went to the Principal office, in the center of Mainframe, to see Phong again for two reasons, 1) Sam doesn't know why she compiles faster and 2) Emily needs an icon.

Sam watched as they tested Emily the same way they tested her. She hated that, and by the look on Emily's face, she didn't like it either. While she was getting tested, Phong told Sam what was wrong with her.

"I wasn't going to tell you this because I didn't want you to worry but when I downloaded your file into your icon, I found a strange command but I could not delete it so I thought it was something all users had" Phong said, "Here, look at Emily's, it's the exact same thing but you can't delete it, see" he said as he clicked the delete button.

A screen message popped up and it said: Cannot Delete File : File system error!

"I kinda like this compiling thing but that means I could be an old woman by tomorrow! I don't want to die early! It's not fair! It's not fair!!" Sam started crying on Bob's shoulder.

Bob gave her a hug while patting her back. "It's ok... everything will be ok." I hope.

After that conversation, Emily's testing was over. Phong handed the icon to Emily and she put it where Sam put hers only Bob didn't help Emily, he was too busy trying to calm Sam down. He ended up taking her back to his place for a drink.

"Are you ok?" He asked walking to the refrigerator in the kitchen. "Are you thirsty?" he asked getting out some cups.

"I guess," Sam sniffed.

So Bob poured some of his home made energy shake into two mugs. He set them on a platter and brought them into the living room where Sam was sitting on the couch. He set the platter on the coffee table and then picked up her cup and handed it to her.

"Thanks," she said, wiping her eyes.

"It's ok, you're not going to die, you can't, I haven't gotten to know you yet," he said putting down his drink.

"I wish that were true but you heard what Phong said, you can't delete it. OHH NOO!" she said, putting down her drink, that means that Emily is going to die too!" She started to cry on Bob's shoulder again and their they sat, huddled together on the couch. Both of them were scared, scared that loved ones were going to die sometime within the next few days and there was nothing they could do.

"How many new recruits today?" the ultra virus in the black chair asked.

"One ma'm, that's completes the crew except for the young guardian. Matrix, Enzo.... How do we get him?" the evil bionome replied.

"We will think of something. In the mean time, fix the files of the day before sprites so they won't end up being 27 years old."

"Yes Daemon, right away," the bionome said as he flicked a switch, kicking off the age file.

"To make things easier, at mid-night, turn off the other sprites age file and don't delay this time you 2-bit, box of bolts. We almost lost one!" she yelled at him.

"Yes ma'm" he said and looked up at the clock, it read 11:59:4., "10... 9... 8..." he counted. His hand hovered over the button and then he pressed it. That very button shutdown the whole age filing system and would never be made again.

Sam and Bob fell asleep on the couch that night. Sam really needed someone to lean on and Bob was it, her ultimate hero. She fell for him as soon as she met him, even though she was 14 at the time.

Bob was the first to wake up that morning, he nudged her on the shoulder but she didn't wake up. "Sam, get up, everyone is probably wondering where you are."

"What time is it?" Sam asked rubbing her eyes. "I don't know, but you don't look a year older," he said.

"Thanks, but I am 27 now and tomorrow I will be 33 and then....." She was interrupted by a vid-window and it was Phong.

"Sam, where have you been, I was scanning through your files last night and the age file disappeared, you are still 21!"

"I am! What about Emily, how old is she?" Sam asked.

"She is 20 and her age file is gone to!" Phong said happily. "You still have a long life to live."

"Did you hear that Bob, I'm not going to die!"

"Yea I did" he said leaning in for a kiss. "Ah-hum." Bob cleared his throat and stared at Phong.

"Ohh, sorry," Phong said as he cleared away the vid-window.

After that, Bob and Sam finally kissed.

Boy will I have some explaining to do with Dot, Bob thought.

Later on in the day, everyone met at Dot's Diner to introduce Sam and Emily to (V)atrix and AndrAIa. Bob, Sam and Emily all walked in together and went over to their usual booth. Dot and AndrAIa were sitting in the booth talking and (V)atrix was with Enzo and they were playing with their action figures.

"Enzo, your action figures can't win all the time!" (V)atrix whined.

"Yes, they can, because they're better then yours!" Enzo said, kicking over (V)atrix's action figures.

"They are NOT!" (V)atrix yelled.

"THEY ARE TO!" Enzo yelled back.

"Hey, hey, hey, settle down you two, don't make me come over there," Dot said.

"(V)atrix, you know better," Bob said.

"Sorry," (V)atrix said.

"Yea, sorry," Enzo said.

"They are not," (V)atrix whispered.

"They are too," Enzo whispered back.

"Anyway," Dot said, "Emily, Sam, this is AndrAIa she is an artificial intelligence game sprite from a water game where (V)atrix rescued her from being eaten by the user," Dot said.

"That's right" (V)atrix said, "I saved her from a near deletion experience." He smiled.

"Yea, I bet you did," Emily said, not amused.

"I did, really" (V)atrix said.

"Whatever, Hi AndrAIa, I'm Emily, this is Sam, I know you may think that users are bad but we aren't and..."

AndrAIa cut her sentence off. "I know you won't hurt us, you have been her for 2 days and nothing has happened so far, if you were really bad, you would have already hurt or deleted us."

"We would never do that... unless..." Emily said.

"Unless what?" AndrAIa asked.

"Unless you make us soo made that we can't stand it but everyone is like that," Emily said.

"Boy can I relate to that," (V)atrix said.

"I'm sure you can," Emily snapped. (V)atrix kind of gasped in a way as if saying did she just say that to me?!

"Now wait just a nano," (V)atrix said. AndrAIa kicked his shin.

"Ouch!" He said, hopping on one foot. Everyone started to laugh.

"Uhh, Dot, can we talk alone for a nano," Bob said scratching his head.

"Sure Bob," Dot said, walking over to the pay vid-window where Bob was standing.

"You want to what!" Dot yelled. "Fine then, I don't care, I had no room in my life for a boyfriend anyway!"

"I'm sorry Dot, but you know it wouldn't have lasted much longer. All the fights and arguments, we just weren't right for each other. I'm sorry," Bob said, taking her hand and kissing her on the cheek. She jerked her hand away and ran out of the Diner.

Sam and Emily were waiting for Bob at the corner of the Diner. Emily sighed.

"Not Bob, (V)atrix," Emily said.

"I thought you hated him" Sam said. "I was just playing hard to get, it's a new approach I haven't tried," Emily said.

"Good luck," Sam said, shaking her head.

"Heir Doktor, when will we start the training with our new visitors?" Daemon asked, folding her arms.

"Uhh, we could start right now if you want." the bionome said.

"What do you think... Of course I do, I can see why you worked with Megabyte, he has such bad taste," Daemon said.

"The transporter is ready for your departure if you want to leave now," Heir Doktor said pointing to a long metal tube in the center of the room.

"Good," Daemon said, walking over to the transporter. She stepped in and Heir Doktor started to press buttons and flip switches. Suddenly, Daemon started to slowly disintegrate and reappear in the Mainframe square. Daemon got out of the transporter and looked around.

The first place she turned to was Dot's Diner and she happened to know for a fact that was where two of the users meet with others old enough to help with taking over Mainframe. When she walked in the Diner everyone went right on eating and talking; they thought she was another user.

"You must be the new user in town," a bionome said.

"No I'm not, my name is Daemon and I am looking for the other users that come here."

"Daemon!" the bionome shouted.

Everyone turned to him and all he could do was point.... then he fainted. They all started screaming and shouting as they ran out of the diner.

"Where are Sam and Emily!?" she said, picking up a bionome and shaking it making the bionome dizzy. The bionome pointed over to the shopping mall and there Sam and Emily were, getting new outfits with the money Phong gave them. Phong told them he would give them some money since they were new.

Daemon walked over to the store that Sam and Emily were in and pretended to look for clothes. She tried to blend in but she stuck out like a black rose in a bouquet red roses.

"Who is that?" Emily asked, "She looks so different from all the other sprites."

"Maybe she is a user too," Sam said, "I'm going to walk over there and meet her, please come with me."

"OK," Emily said and they walked over to Daemon.

"Hi, are you new here?" Sam asked.

"Sort of" Daemon said smiling. "You two need to come with me, we need to talk in private."

"I don't think so," Bob said, running into the store. "Come on you two, you need to stay away from her... What are you doing here anyway, Daemon?"

"Why Bob, what ever do you mean?" she asked batting her eyes.

"Don't you bat yours eyes at me, I know what you're up to," Bob said. "You want to take over Mainframe."

"Me?" Daemon asked and looking around as if he was talking to someone else. While Bob and Daemon talked, Sam glared at her. She hated the way she treated Bob and she hated the way Daemon flirted with him and Emily could see it in Sam's eyes. Oh no, Sam is going to do something.

"Wait just a nano, you flirtin', black piece of sh**! How dare you talk to my boyfriend like that!" Sam yelled.

"Boyfriend... really?" Bob asked.

"Yea, if you want to be, but let's talk about this later," Sam said, smiling. Then she turned her head back to Daemon. "You get your sorry ASCII out of here!"

Emily put her hand over Sam's mouth. "I don't know where all that came from, will you excuse us, good bye @$$ hole," Emily said, pulling Sam by her ear.

"Ow aw aw," Sam said walking sideways.

"Like Sam said, go away, leave Mainframe, now," Bob said, pointing to the transporter.

"Not without Sam and Emily, I brought them here, made them older and I'm not leaving without them!" Daemon yelled.

"What do you mean you brought them hear?" Bob asked glaring at her.

"I blew up their computers and shot them here, I sped up their ages so they would be old enough to fight your armies so I can take over Mainframe!" she said, laughing.

"Sam and Emily hate you, they will never side with you!" Bob said.

"We'll see about that," she said and grabbed Bob by the arm. Her nails dug into his arm so he wouldn't struggle. She shoved him into the transporter and then she stepped in.

"Sam!!" Bob yelled.

Sam turned toward the voice calling her name and saw Bob's hand slowly disintegrate and then he was gone. "NOOOOOO!" Sam screamed.

"We got to go after him, ca'mon!" Sam yelled, pulling Emily's arm as tears flowed down her face. They both ran over to the transporter and jumped in just in time before the transporter vanished. And when the transporter started up, from the inside it looked like all these black lights were shooting at them but really they were just moving forward rapidly through the web, to a place called Galactic Disk. When the transporter landed, they were in Daemon's secret lab and had to duck behind some scrap metal to avoid being seen.

"What do we do now?" Emily whispered. "Look for Bob, he has to be in here, unless they took him to another room," Sam whispered back.

They glanced around the metal corners and Emily saw him. "There he is!" Emily said, pointing in the far corner.

He was tied up and knocked out and Sam could see the blood coming out of his arm. Sam clinched her fists and hopped to her feet but Emily pulled her down and covered her mouth.

"Shhh" Emily said, "What are you trying to do, get us cau...." Emily looked up and two evil guardians holding out guns and pointing them at the back of Sam's head.

"Huhm" Sam said as she turned around slowly. Sam shot up and gave one of them her right hook and that knocked the guardian right to the floor. "Ouw," Sam said, holding her hand.

As Sam tried to recover from the punch, the other guardian snatched her by the arm and yanked her out of the hiding spot. Two other guardians went on the other side and grabbed Emily. Emily kicked one of them in the shin and struggled to get free of the other guardian's grasp but he had a full metal suit on and that enabled her to hit him and get free.

"Are these the two sprites you were talking about, Daemon?" one of the guardians asked.

"Yes they are Guardian 7, how did you two get here so fast?" Daemon asked. "We have a surprise all planned out for you two and if you will just wait right here, we will get everything set up for your surprise." Daemon walked over to the control panel and pressed the red button.

A large 'laser' slowly emerged out of the floor and it was pointed right at Bob. "What are you doing?! Bob isn't involved in this situation and you know it!" Sam yelled.

"Let him go!" Emily yelled.

"Aww, so you really love Bob, don't you?" Daemon asked.

"No, no I don't" Sam said, lying.

"So then you wouldn't care if I deleted him right now?" Daemon asked.

"No, don't!" Sam hollered.

"The only way that I won't is if you join my guardian clan," Daemon said.

"You will never get me to join," Emily said, "I hardly know Bob and no offense Sam, but I wouldn't care that much if he was deleted, only a little."

"I knew that you were going to be a problem so I planned something extra special for you, bring him in," Daemon said.

Just then 4 guardians walked in carrying someone. It was (V)atrix. He was all tied up and the 4 guardians walked over and dropped him in the corner with Bob. "I heard you liked (V)atrix from a spy of mine," Daemon said, "Do you?"

"Well, I.... uhhhn" Emily stuttered.

"Do we really have to go through this line again?" Daemon sighed. "So you wouldn't care if I deleted him right now?"

"No ,don't!" Emily yelled.

"Good grief," Daemon said putting her hand to her head. "Ohh whatever, are you going to join or are your sweeties going to be deleted?" Daemon asked. They both looked at each other and asked, "What do we have to do?"

Meanwhile, back at Mainframe...

"Where is (V)atrix?" AndrAIa asked. "He should have been back from the store by now, maybe he stopped for a drink, but then he would have told me so I wouldn't worry, maybe he...."

A bionome cut off her sentence, "AndrAIa, I'm so glad I found you!"

"What is it?" AndrAIa asked. "It's (V)atrix, he was taken by 4 guardians and dragged him into a metal tube and then they disappeared" the bionome said. "And get this, some of the bionomes said they were evil guardians that work for Daemon."

"Where does Daemon live?" AndrAIa said in a low, mean voice.

"Soo?!" AndrAIa asked Phong as she watched him look through his middle drawer.

"I don't know my child," the short, robot said. "Ah ha!" He said holding his finger up in the air, "Here are those nail clippers I wanted."

"Phong!" AndrAIa sighed, "I need that transporter command now, I may be too late but I have to try. I bet that Sam and Emily are in on this, and to think I trusted them too."

"I sense that it is not their fault, otherwise, they are pretty good actresses," Phong said, pulling on his thin beard. Silence spread across the control room as AndrAIa watched Phong look for the command.

"Here let me," AndrAIa said, pushing Phong's hands out of the way and then she looked through the drawer herself. She found the command at the back of the drawer and quickly pressed the button that started it. Then a large, metal tube popped up and AndrAIa ran in and closed the door. Phong typed in Daemon's coordinates and pressed enter. The metal tube along with AndrAIa slowly disintegrated and she was gone. "Good luck my child," Phong said.

Back at Daemon's Domain, Bob slowly started to wake. With his eyes barely opened, he watched the evil bionomes and guardians walk and run around, working the controls. Where am I? Oohh, my head... He turned his head to the right and there was (V)atrix, still knocked out. He turned to the left and he had to blink several times, then he shook his head.

There stood Sam and Emily in evil guardian uniforms. How could they? Sam wasn't to sure about this idea but it was the only way to keep Bob from getting deleted so it was something she had to do. She felt soo bad for changing sides but she didn't really, she's just protecting her one true love. Only Bob didn't see it that way, he saw her as a trader and regretted dumping Dot for her.

All that Emily thought about was a good way to get out of this mess. If (V)atrix wakes up and sees me and thinks I'm with Daemon, he will hate me for life, I can't let that happen, I love him. Emily sighed as she listened to Daemon's orders.

I am soo not going to follow these regulations, Sam thought as she stared at Bob. I hope he is ok. Just then she saw him blink. Oh thank the Net, but wait, I can't let him see me with Daemon like this! So she walked over to Bob and winked in a way to tell him he wasn't alone and they weren't on Daemon's side.

Bob looked down at the floor and pretended to sleep. Sam kicked him in his leg and whispered, " I love you and I'm not for Daemon and neither is Emily, we just didn't want to see you and (V)atrix hurt." Then she repeated again in his ear as she pretended to slap him, "I love you."

"I can't believe I liked that Guardian," she lied as she stood up, "I hate him."

"That's the spirit" Daemon said walking over and patting her on the back and as they walked away, another tear trickled down Sam's cheek and onto Bob's black boot. She isn't lying, he thought, she really does love me. Bob nudged (V)atrix and he didn't wake, so he carefully pushed him out of the laser's way and he stood up dizzily. "Hey, Sam, how could you, and I trusted you, too."

"Yea, well, I guess I wasn't who you thought I was," Sam said. Bob started to walk closer to Sam and Sam started to walk towards Bob. They met in the middle of the room and started a stare-off.

"Delete Him!" Daemon shouted, but Sam didn't listen. They both leaned in closer and kissed. "Guardian's, Delete them both!" Daemon yelled. The evil guardian's picked up there key tools and aimed them at Sam and Bob. "Ready, Aim, Fi.." Daemon began to yell but she was cut off by Emily.

"Don't fire, I will!" she said as she took out her secret weapon she found in the metal pile and shot the gun like crazy. Every one of the guardians fell to the ground dead, and all that was left was Daemon, Emily, Bob, Sam, (V)atrix and... AndrAIa?! The transporter finally landed and AndrAIa stepped out. "This is between you and me Daemon!" she yelled as she drew her trident.

"Why if it isn't young AndrAIa, how are you?" Daemon asked.

"Ohh, I'm just peachy!" AndrAIa snapped.

"My, my aren't we touchy." Daemon said smiling, "Why are you mad at me anyway? It should be Emily that you are mad at."

Emily heard her name called and she looked up from (V)atrix's bump on his head. "Who? Me?" Emily asked. "You don't have to lie, Emily, tell AndrAIa who brought (V)atrix here," Daemon said, folding her arms.

"What are you talking about?" Emily said in a low, mean voice.

"Oh, just the fact that you brought (V)atrix here for me."

"Emily, how could you?" AndrAIa glared.

"But I..." Emily tried to explain.

"No buts, unless..." AndrAIa then swung around and ran towards Daemon with her trident heading straight for her. Daemon dove out of the way and the trident jammed into the controls. "Nooo!" Daemon yelled, "You 2 bit fish, I'll rip you a part!" Daemon put on her black, nail grove on that was filled with poisonous darts. AndrAIa's nails grew long and she was ready to fire. The fight started with a stare off. They circled each other waiting for the right moment to fire.

Emily, Sam and Bob pulled (V)atrix behind the broken controls so they wouldn't get shot. Emily continued to revive (V)atrix while Sam and Bob watched in Horror as the firing started. Daemon shot first and AndrAIa ducked out of the way. The nail hit the wall and then the nail crumbled. The next shot was fired by AndrAIa and it just barely skinned Daemon's gown making, a small tear in it. "You'll pay for that!" she yelled as she fired her last nail and unfortunately, AndrAIa was hit.

The blood surged out of her neck as she fell to the ground coughing up blood. By this time Emily finally aroused (V)atrix. "Ohh, what happened?" he asked holding his head. He sat up and looked around.

"ANDRAIA!!" (V)atrix yelled and dizzily ran to her side. "Ohh, AndrAIa, no, please don't leave me, I love you," he said, holding her head in his lap.

"Enzo," AndrAIa whispered, "I.... love..." Her eyes slowly closed and her hand fell from his cheek. (V)atrix just stared at the lifeless body. His one true love layed before him breathless and cold. Even though he was trying to be tough about this matter, a tear trickled down his cheek and onto AndrAIa's hand. (V)atrix closed her hand with the tear in it and kissed the only sprite he had ever loved. Emily walked over to comfort him. She sat down beside him and gave him a hug. (V)atrix wrapped his arms around Emily and more tears felled out of the corners of his eyes.

Sam and Bob were in the background, hugging and crying in each others arms. (V)atrix raised his head from Emily's grasp and stared at Daemon.

Daemon smiled unsurely and said, "I think I, umm..., I think I have to go now." She ran over to the transporter and punched in the coordinates. (V)atrix jumped up and ran for the transporter but before he could get there, she disintegrated.

"We have to go after her!" (V)atrix said, breathing hard. "We have to, for AndrAIa."

"Don't worry" Bob said, "We will" he said patting him on the back. They each went in the transporter two at a time since there was no room for two muscular sprites and two thin sprites. (V)atrix and Emily went together and Bob and Sam went together (of course). Since Bob had worked with transporters before, he knew how to get back to Mainframe. When they landed safely in Mainframe, Daemon was in the center of it zapping buildings and blowing up cars.

"My car!!" Bob yelled. "Bob, your car is at your house in the garage" Sam said putting her hand on his shoulder. "Uh, yea, I forgot," he said hitting his head with the palm of his hand.

"Daemon!" (V)atrix shouted.

Uhh oh. She turned her head toward them and started to run. (V)atrix and everyone started to run after her.

That's it, I'm not running. "Hey Daemon! Why don't you quit running and face us!" Sam yelled. "Or are you chicken!?"

Everyone gasped and silence spread over the sector. "What did you say?" Daemon questioned. "You heard me," she said, taking a step forward. "Yea, are ya?!" Emily asked stepping beside Sam.

"No, I'm not, and I'll fry both of you like chicken!" She pointed her laser at Sam and Emily and said, "I should have done this a long time ago." Just as she was about to shoot, a voice cried, "Take that you snazzle frakin', frickin', f*ckin' Virus!"

"Watch your mouth, Kelli!" Enzo snapped. Daemon turned around to see a zipboard coming at her head. GONG!! Daemon fell to the ground and was not getting up anytime soon.

"Kelli?!" Emily and Sam said at the same time.

"Whaaa?" she asked. "Are they bad?" she asked Enzo.

"No, that's Sam, she's one of my friends and Bob's girlfriend and this is Emily, I don't know her that well."

"Hewo," she said, waving the zipboard, then she threw it behind her.

"I know that hello, that's Kelli from school!" Sam yelled, then she gave her a big hug. "Hey now," she said, pushing her away. "Kelli, it's me Sam, your friend and this Emily, Em."

"Really? Where in the he** were you when I first got here?"

"That's a long story," Emily said.

"Here we go again", Bob said.

"But what to do with Daemon?" (V)atrix asked.

"I think I have an idea." Bob picked up Daemon and put her in the transporter. He pressed in the coordinates which would shoot Daemon into the Web, a place where if you go in, you never return. Luckily Bob got out of the Web just in time thanks to (V)atrix. Anyway, Bob pressed enter and she disintegrated.

One cycle later Kelli got her icon and was tested for any minor glitches she may have, she checked clean, thank goodness and everyone went on with there old/new lives.

"So, Emily," (V)atrix said, "I know you are new here and you still don't know me that well but I was thinking about AndrAIa and I know she wouldn't want me to do on with life with no one and mourning her... death, so would you like to go on a double date. It's only me, you, Bob, and Sam. What do ya think?"

"I guess we could do that." Emily said.

"I mean, I was thinkin' about having someone to help comfort me when I need it, I mean, if I needed comfort," (V)atrix said, sticking his chin up.

"I'll be there when you need me," she said.

"Thanks." He smiled, then he kissed her on the cheek. Emily smiled feeling like she was going to melt right in front of him and after he walked away, she practically did.

They had chosen to have there date at a movie theater. They went to see the movie, Ink Jet Warriors (the guys' choice). They each sat down with there popcorn and Soda ready for the movie to start. Before the lights dimmed, Emily looked around the room and saw a familiar face. "Hey guys, look," Emily said pointing to the front row.

Sitting there was Enzo and he was with a girl. It was Kelli. Sam laughed to herself, no boys huh? Enzo noticed there eyes beating on him and her turned around. He smiled at them and put his arm around her. "See what you two did?" Sam asked. "What?" they both said at the same time, putting there arms around their dates. Emily and Sam both smiled and enjoyed the rest of the movie with there new boyfriends.

Epilogue

Hello, my name is Yobe452. I hope you liked my story. Of course this isn't the only story I have worked on but it is the only one that I have pretty much perfected. I would like to personally thank Lady Sita for putting this story on her web page and anyways, you prob'ly would like to know what happens to everyone after the story is over.

Well.... (V)atrix and Em are a couple now and even though he still misses AndrAIa a lot, he has learned to move on... after 3 cycles of not calling Em. For those 3 cycles, Em lived with Dot, Enzo and Kelli until (V)atrix wanted Em to stay at his place to avoid crowding he explained. Em knew he just wanted her there so she went along with it. Bob and Sam are also a couple (duh) and Sam stays at Bob's. She did live with Dot but once she started to not come home until 24 hundred, Dot and everyone else thought it best that she was to stay with Bob. Right now Sam is trying to get Bob to redecorate, so far Bob hasn't caved. Even though they have little arguments, they don't last, they love to make up.

Kelli and Enzo didn't last, Enzo got too annoying says Kelli and Enzo said Kelli was too annoying so that one date was their last. But they are still good friends now and Enzo is waiting for his chance to meet an artificial intelligence game sprite. Kelli has once again given up guys, until someone cuter comes along.

Dot has been engrossed in her work and Bob has made up with her. They are now good friends. Dot doesn't mind Sam either although Dot is jealous. "Am not!" Dot yelled.

Daemon is in the web planning her next plan to take over Mainframe. Everyone will always be there to stop her so Mainframe has nothing to worry about.

Now, you may be asking, Where in the heck is Hexidecimal? Well Hex pretty much stayed out of this. Her chaotic ways would have made this story longer and she prob'ly would have hurt Sam since she likes Bob.
