Across the night sky, I see endless stars. I know that you are far in the distance. I can't touch or hold you close. When I look at the stars I know that somewhere you are looking at them too. I know that you are wishing for the same things that I am dreaming of.
As time passes by I know that you will be back in my arms again. I will be able to see your smiling face when you enter through the door. I will be able to wrap my arms around you to hug and kiss you ever so sweetly. I will then sleep very well that very night. I will know that you are safely home once again. |
