As I look into the mirror I see a person that has had a lot of pain through out her life. She never complined about the heartache to anyone. She would lie in bed and let the tears run down her face and made sure that no one heard her pain. She would sit in the dark and listen to the music that played. The music would be soft and calm so that she could relax and think of all the things that might just one day happen to her in the future.
She would wonder if she would ever meet that special person out there for her and if she would ever any kids. She wondered where she would be in her life in the next few years. Would she be hopeless or would she be out earning a living so that no one would have to support her. As I look into her eyes she is thinking of her favorite place to be.
This place has trees with leaves and grass to where they just shine and glitter. The limbs have a dark brown tone to them to make them stand out. The flowers are so bright with colors of red, orange, yellow and purple. If she listened hard enough she woul dbe able to hear the birds with their song. She listens to see if the song is a song of happiness and glory.
She pictures a place that is peaceful with the wind blowing with a cool breeze and sunshines in her face. She likes a place where she can walk and think about the things in her life. Her place is where the trees are green with lots of leaves and shade. After sitting so long on a long and not moving, she watches the animals scurry and walk along the guided path made just for her.
She watches as the squirrels chase each other up and down the trees, running through the grass while playing. She looks afar and sees a doe standing and wonders where the mother is. The doe just stands there so content and smelling every thing in sight. The doe happens to see a butterfly and tries to follow it. He doe is getting discouraged because the butterfly is flying high above the head. When the doe can no longer see the flying creature, she rushes off farther into the trees. She looks farther into the trees and finally sees the mother being so cautious as to who comes near her baby. The first move and they would have to run.
She hopes that she is like that if she ever has any children. Would she ever be a good mother? Would she ever be as cautious as this deer with her child? Would she get enjoyment from watching her children chasing a butterfly? She would only know this when the time comes. She hoped that a lot of good things would happen in the future and would have all that she ever dreamed of.
She wonders if there is anyone who could love her the way that she wants to be loved so that she can give the greatest gift back. Love is so wonderful once you have it. The only question life has for us then is "How longcan you hold onto the lvoe that you have?" She craves the love that is out there waiting for, waiting to be grabbed and held onto. Once she gets it she might never want to let it go. Love is all she wants and that is all she asks out of life.
The person that is standing before her in this great picture reveals alot. It shows all the pain, the heartache and much happiness to be gained in life. She sees all the hopes and dreams that will someday be cherished and granted to her by God. She looks into the mirror and thanks God for everything he has ever given her, cause she knows that without God she would have nothing at all. With all things that she has endured in her life, it has made her who she has become inside. Your dreams are only as hard as you make them in your life.
So, if you ever want to know what your life has endured throughout your life just take a few moments and look inside your eyes through a mirror. Only then will you see what you never thought you would find. |
