The Wand
The wand serves to project your energy to a certain place. Thing, person or dimension. Wands can be made of wood or copper insulated by leather. A Wooden wand should be taken from tree in your local area. The magickal properties of these trees vary. So do a little research and find the one that will be your best choice. When you take a branch in your area take special care. First you must know when the best time it is to prune that particular tree. If your are not sure contact your local nursery. When you are cut the wand from the tree, make sure you explain to the tree why you are take the branch. The wand should be about 12 to 18 inches long, and about as thick as your pinky finger. After you are done cutting the branch thank the tree and leave it an offering at the base of the tree. For decoration you can add crystal to the top, rap leather around the base for convert, and Add some magickal symbols in the middle. Wands traditionally stand for communication and matters of business.
The Cauldron
The cauldron is the symbol for the Goddess. The cauldron is made of cast iron and thing transform when this tool is used. It can be your main point of interest in a ritual. Uses for the cauldron are developing your own oils or brews, scrying with still water, steam, or dripping wax in to it fill with water.
Incense Burner
The incense burner is use to purify the area you are magically working in. It can be used at your altar to symbolize the element of air. Incense can help the Witch reach altered state of awareness. Incense can be purchased in cones, stick, cubes, or raw. Most Witches like to use the raw incense set on charcoal blocks or disks.
The Bolline
The Bolline is the tool used for cutting thing in the physical realm. It's a knife, often white. It uses are for harvesting herbs, wands, plants, inscribing candles, cutting cords, etc. It's use purely for magickal working only.
The Athame
The athame is used for commanding and manipulating power. This knife is a doubled-edged and dull as it doesn't need to cut thing in the physical plane. Its uses are for directing energy in a dimension where the knife has no use. Most of these knife are black handled, mine isn't, its a rainbow handled and it work perfectly well for me. Some witches use swords instead of the knife. A note on knives, swords, and the law: most Law enforcement officials view These items as concealed weapons, if they are found in your vehicle or on yourself. Law enforcement doesn't view knives and swords as ritual items. They have the right to confiscate and not return them.
The Pentacle
The pentacle is a flat disc with a pentagram inscribed on it. Its basic use is to evoke entities and protection.
